I’m a classically trained professional flute player who is new to the Albuquerque area. I have extensive experience performing as both a soloist and as part of various ensembles. I have performed from Chicago and Nashville, to Austria and Japan with musicians of all cultures and backgrounds. I teach privately and delight in assisting both young and old pursue their musical passions.
I have spent the last four years as an active duty member of the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band and have performed in hundreds of different ceremonies each year during this time.

Eric Luminais, flutist and teacher, is a professional musician with experience as a soloist, chamber musician, an instructor, and playing in the Oculus Duo with guitarist Jacob Hendley. He was a finalist in the Memphis Beethoven Club’s Young Artist Competition, and he performed Otar Gordeli’s Concertino for Flute and Orchestra with the Eastern Symphonic Orchestra. In his free time, Eric enjoys distance running and practicing archery.
I am inspired both by the classical tradition of the flute as well as modern extended techniques. He has played a large variety of rock and jazz inspired works and is comfortable with these styles as well as folk music from various cultures.
