Kaiumari and Esteban gifted our Art opening with exquisite sacred music. The performance was so synchronic that the photographer even took magical shots of the performance. The guests all reported to me that they were transported into a state of stillness and wonder. You could have heard a pin drop. Guests later stood around talking about what they experienced. What was remarkable about this event was that we all had the opportunity to add our voice into creating the music, and the guests were quite taken with it. Kaiumari and Esteban are truly committed to what they do and draw you into the experience. Truly breathtaking.
On another note, Kaiumari has performed for other events I have been involved with: accompanying poetry readings and performing at salons. She also provided music for my associate's store grand opening. Her work is always unique, original and memorizing. I truly recommend her.
I have meditated for a decade with some of the greatest spiritual teachers alive but this workshop aloud me without any effort, to go into one of the most profound, full body meditations that I have ever been in. It was extremely relaxing and unmistakably tangible. To be this relaxed must be healing. A shamanic ritual can't be better than this!!! You don't have to believe anything, just be open.

Mari was originally gifted a spontaneous form of movement meditation that came to her after attending a traditional indigenous dance in 1992. She had already been working with her own form of sacred sound for a year or so before this, one that was completely complementary to this movement meditation. She plunged into her own in depth internal study of these mysteries, and her own moon cycle following a spontaneous Kundalini awakening, spending many many years developing a relationship to this work in private. Then she encountered Tibetan Buddhist Master Yuan Miao who told her that she was "cut from the same cloth" as herself when they discussed this spontaneous movement mediation and Mari's sacred sound work, and indicated that her spontaneous movement mediation was an actual Tibetan Buddhist practice.
When Kaiumari met Ching Fung Dao Shr eleven years later, she realized that his form was one of the forms she had been developing on her own for years.
Mari has also studied Total Body Modification and apprenticed with a world renowned energy healer for over 8 years, serving as his medical intuitive. She has also studied with Sifu Jenny Lamb, Tibetan Master Geshe Gyeltsen, Taoist master and Kahuna, Shen Ballesteros; is a level 3 Matrix Energetics Graduate, and a practitioner of realized master B. Prior's "Form" practice. Kaiumari has performed Marriages for clients and is a licensed minister. She has training as a Motivational Interviewer (coach), and served in a program helping youth to define their goals and support them to transition off drugs in a USC Motivational Interviewing pilot program with Keck School of Medicine.
Mari also is a graduate and has a formal education from CSULB. She also has studied at UCSB, SJSU, PCC, and WVJC where she has formally studied Theater, the Arts, mask making, and body and face decoration as well as philosophy and religion. WHAT TO EXPECT: In General, but depending what it is, our services intend to bring in the sacred. The services intend to open understanding to one's greater connection and purpose, heal wounds, transition in some way, assume a new and broader view point, to embrace life in a deeper manner.
If we participate in a group, a space needs to be made for quiet. The atmosphere at the event needs to be one of awareness and attention. We can go into an event that is faster paced, but when we come into it, people need to be willing to slow down and change the energy of the event or there at least needs to be a space we are working in where the people there are creating a space for quiet, contemplation and awareness away from the faster paced area. We have been repeatedly successful in doing this while allowing the other part of the "party" to go on in a separate area.
We have the participants of the event prepare in many ways before the event. We consult these participants and help them create a personalized service based on their individual understandings, characteristics and the needs of the situation. Basically this is about Education and Participation.
As according to indigenous protocol, we never charge for any actual indigenous ceremony. We charge for the tutoring, the organizing, the workshop / mentoring / education services and what goes into the whole thing.
