Lola was a perfect addition to our Lilo and Stitch themed party. The kids enjoyed a fun performance followed by a fun instructional dance lesson! It was a huge hit that wrapped up with fun games and tattoos!
Polynesian Fusion performed at an 80th birthday party and were the hit of the party. Not only was their variety of dancing authentic, but they truly engaged the crowd with fun and laughter while teaching others the dance moves. If you are having a Hawaiian/Polynesian event, you would be smart to hire Polynesian Fusion so call Lola.

Lola and the Polynesian fusion was excellent to work with, very professional. They dealt with my tricky timeline and the need to keep it a surprise! They were so helpful and the guests where absolutely surprised! They loved the performance and the picture time as well.
Thank you so much
I would definitely do this again, Next time it’ll be around sunset!

Angela, we had so much fun performing at your luau! Please save all of your luau party decorations so we can do it again next summer- maybe we can make it an annual event!
Aloha,
Lola, Leilani and Pele
We were very impressed, great communication and very professional. She was a true pro. We had a luau for our 9 year old but the adults were happy to take hula lessons too!

Update/In response to the comment below:
Before this turns into a "he said/she said" debacle, I want to make sure you understand that my intention was not to offend you; it was to provide constructive guidance on what you could do differently next time, based on our experience. Secondly, I truly apologize for the mishap in the basement with you walking in on my father in law getting dressed. That must have been traumatizing, and I sincerely apologize for that. Now, I have to say, your version of the story is awfully different from mine so let's start from the beginning. 1. You did not tell me until 5:30pm the night before (I have an email trail as evidence) that you needed a room to get ready (shouldn't you come dressed to an event?). I had a house full of out of town guests for the weekend, and my in-laws had the basement then. I actually read your email the morning of the event, and forgot to mention to them this tiny detail of how you would be using their room (the basement) to get ready... and that is why you walked into my father in law getting dressed. Sorry, I had a lot of things on my mind that morning, and that certainly did not take priority. Lesson learned here: tell your customer well ahead of time that you need a room to get ready so they can make the proper arrangements. 2. Next, regarding your setup: I advised you to take the front of the lawn but YOU requested to be next to the water slide (I remember this like it was yesterday as I thought it was a strange place to want to perform) so I granted your wish, and even shut off the power to the inflatables as you requested. I should also mention that when you unplugged your equipment, you shorted out the power to the inflatables and to our sound system so you should probably be a little more careful next time. 3. Regarding the basement, we offered the alternative entrance to the basement through the inside of the house but you complained about the amount of stairs and then decided to use the bulk head entrance instead. We never use that entryway so yeah, it's covered in spiders. Again, if you gave us enough warning, we could have figured out a different room for you to get ready, maybe. Although we're not millionaires, and therefore do not have designated "dressing rooms" for our guests. Also, the basement itself is not full of spiders, let's make sure that's clear. Our daughter uses that as a playroom at times, and so no, I would never let a spider enter that room. The bulk head stairway/entry, however, is another story. I found out that afternoon, at the same time you did, that it was infested with spiders. Gross. 4. You probably should have added in the travel time when you accepted my request for a quote. That's not on the customer if you knew where the event was located; and yet, you still accepted my request regardless. 5. The total cost of this gig was $300 ($260 for 30 mins of dancing and 30 mins of lessons and putting on tattoos; $20 to gigsalad; $20 tip = $300) - and yeah, that's enough money to have certain expectations). 6. I deducted two points off my review for the cost of the show and the non-aloha spirited attitude, which you had from the very start; I mentioned my high expectations for the quality of the dance routines but that did not factor into my rating as I'm well aware that you were performing at a birthday party for a 2yr old. Anyway, this was our experience alone, and maybe if gigsalad didn't bombard me with email requests every single day to review your gig, I would never have taken this much time out of my day to do so. BUT now I feel justified as your very defensive response and displaced blame speaks for itself (although I want to lower it, our guests liked you so it will stand). Good luck on future endeavors. Hopefully, you will use this as a learning experience.

Response from Lola and Polynesian Fusion:
I apologize that the quality of my dance routine did not meet your expectations for your 2 year olds birthday party.
You put me in a basement bulkhead that was crawling with spiders everywhere to change. And then after my show when I went back to said spider infested basement, and to my shock and horror, there was a naked man in my designated changing room. I kid you not.
You set me up next to your inflatable waterslide, and all of my props, Ipod, and sound system were soaking wet, and this was after I asked for it to be turned off during my show, so that my expensive equipment wouldn't get damaged. I'm not sure how unplugging my speaker short circuited your water slide? How else should I have unplugged it? Are there various methods that I'm not aware of pertaining to unplugging a wire out of the outlet?
Your disregard for my equipment probably dampened my "aloha spirit".
I also waived my travel fee, and didn't charge an extra penny for the three hour round trip drive.
Have you ever driven an hour and a half in an itchy grass skirt each way? No?
And I did mention that I needed a room to change, as well as an outlet when we initially spoke on the phone.
Those are the only two things that I ever need. The email was a reminder, as sometimes people forget, when there's so many details to take care of.
Your daughter is absolutely adorable, and your guests could not have been any nicer, or enthusiastic- so there's the silver lining. Here's hoping that your future events go better- onwards and upwards!
I have had the pleaseure of workgin with this group directly. They are easy ot work with, get back to you with detials and are great on site. My clients love them. Very Talented and dependable.

Thank you AC! We hope to work with your wonderful company again very soon!
Lola and Polynesian Fusion provided us with such a wonderful dancer. Danielle was fantastic! She was wonderful with the kids, an amazing dancer, and taught so many different types of dances from so many of the islands that the kids had done their projects on. Her costumes were perfect for our Catholic school, and the parents loved everything about the interactive performance as well!
I will definitely spread the word about Polynesian Fusion!
Thanks again, we enjoyed it so much!

Lola and Polynesian Fusion have worked at many of the same events as me, and each and every time they have not only performed beautifully, but displayed a very high degree of professionalism. The troupe works together wonderfully, and their costuming is very impressive. They are always prompt, and the crowd always loves them. Typically we end up at college and university diversity events together, where they represent traditional Hawaiian dance admirably.

About
Whether it's a backyard luau or an elegant Hawaiian wedding, we've got an entertainment package to suit your style. For an informal party, we offer a brightly-costumed upbeat show with a hula lesson and dance contest at the finish. For a romantic, upscale reception, we present a set of lovely hulas ending in a solo dancer performing the hauntingly beautiful Hawaiian Wedding Song.
It is recommended that you book the dancers as far in advance as possible, as availability is extremely limited during luau season, which is at it's peak on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Testimonials:
Everything was awesome! The fire dancers were better than some that we’ve seen in Hawaii, and everyone enjoyed it- thank you sooooo much!
You contributed to what our friends and family are calling the party of the century!

I hired Lola for my daughter's 8th birthday party luau. She was just amazing! The kids had a great time and days later were still talking about it. The performance was beautiful, and watching the kids learn the dances was just an awesome experience for everyone!
-Elizabeth R. Preston, CT
Absolutely 100% excited that Polynesian Fusion was able to help us out! Lola was extremely professional and a wonderful dancer. She showed up early and was very accommodating with my requests. We had a bridal shower with 20 women and she had each and every one of us up and doing the hula! I mentioned the Bride-to-be's name ONCE to her, and she remembered it, calling her up to dance by name. Every guest raved about how much fun it was and one guest was even interested in taking a future dance class with her. I would recommend Lola to anyone looking to have some extra fun at their luau! She is a beautiful dancer and an absolute memorable addition to the wedding shower!
