I grew up listening to the Clark Sisters, who helped frame my music style. I have twists, turns, and runs that I use in all of my songs. The smoothness of CeCe Winans and the gutsy sound of Yolanda Adams are also incorporated in the music that I write and sing. I have a degree in music so I am exposed to opera and jazz licks.
