Rock music that actually rocks.
Losers of the Year takes a great amount of pride in writing catchy music with meaningful lyrics that get stuck in your head. The band focuses on upbeat, fun, rock music with a bite and hook that always pleases. The band's set often transitions from fast and loud to slow and thoughtful and back. They have a dynamic range of styles and tone that works well to round out their set and offer something for everyone. The bands on stage persona is often described as funny, charming, and somewhat self deprecating. They take their music very seriously, but not themselves. The band is comprised of four brothers who love to banter back and fourth between shows. Often the boys will invite fans onstage to dance, play guitar, or just act goofy in front of everyone.
Anything can happen. It is very difficult to know what to expect at a LOTY show other than having a good time.
Losers of the Year have performed at the San Bernardino county fair, the O.C. Fair, the L.A. County Fair, the Adelanto Mud Run, The Glass House, as well as many charitable events. The band is particularly proud of their reoccurring shows with organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club as well as the American Cancer Society for which they have performed at the Relay For Life benefit concerts for the past 8 years. Most recently the band took first place out of 24 bands at the The Boulder Creek Harvest Festival battle of the bands.
The band has also shared the stage with the likes of Suburban Legend, The Pink Spiders and The Matches to name a few.
Losers of the Year have recorded 3 full length albums, the most recent of which was a concept album featuring 21 original songs exploring the emotional frustration of feeling trapped in your home town. The band is currently working on their fourth full length album which is currently untitled. In addition to the bands original material, the live concerts are often peppered with popular cover songs. The band has covered everything from Green Day to Lady Gaga and everything in between.
In between shows the band keeps in constant contact with their fans on virtually every social network online. The band encourages their fan base to communicate and interact with them between shows using everything from Google to Youtube. Fans have uploaded T-shirt Designs, music video concepts and even song remixes. Their dedication to the band is only matched by the bands dedication to their fans.
Losers of the Year takes their craft very seriously and their professional attitude toward their hosts and guests has been the cornerstone to their success.

This information is provided to assist the “sound guy” in his stage preparation. The band is also capable of bringing their own sound system, complete with floor monitors if the venue does not already have such a system in place. Please notify the band in advance if they are required to provide their own sound system.
The band does not require nor use any pre-recorded materials, loops, synthesizers or any other form of special effects or backing tracks on stage. Stage lighting is completely optional but always appreciated when available. If available a lighting theme of purple or red and blue is preferred. This is by no means a necessity. The band played their first show under flood lights. Only a reasonable level of visibility is absolutely required.
The band has 4 albums worth of original material for a list of over 50 songs. On top of this list are the bands innumerable cover songs from more established recording artists (Top-40 type hits) from the past and present. Often the band will craft a set list tailor made for the type of event they will be performing at. Other times the band will make up their list on the fly and play as many songs as they can fit into their allotted time.
