Louie and the Atomics

Palm Beach Artist Luis Faour has assembled Louie & The Atomics, a Modern Blues Rock band with a sound reminiscent of the 60's. The band features Luis on vocals and guitar, David Bertok on drums, and Alaina Reed on bass.

Drawing from the foundational techniques of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and other legendary composers, their unique approach rests equally on technical assurance and musicial intelligence. The band plays original compositions along with a mix of high-energy and soulful songs from the past and present, drawing a diverse crowd and wide ranges of ages.

Alaina Reed: Bass

On Bass guitar is Alaina Reed who has devoted more than 20 years to the field of music. As a gifted musician she plays guitar, drums, and keys and is co-owner/creator of Bad Lions Productions and Studio ((link hidden)). She has worked with such great artists such as The Abyssinians, The Melodians, Leroy Sibbles, Tanya Stephens, Mikey Dread, Red Fox, Everton Blender, Wayne Stoddart, Troy Genius, Red Rat, Causion, Maurice Gregory, Gubu Coparchy, Squidly Cole, and has also accompanied George McCrae, David Shelley, and one of South Florida's favorites, JP Soars. David Bertok- Drums

David is a self-taught drummer from Miami who has been playing for decades in venues throughout the state of Florida. He has a complementary style, and his diverse musical influences include Jethro Tull, Mother’s Finest, Steve Jordan, and Thelonious Monk, among others. David’s specialties are classic rock, funk rock, blues, swing, pop, country, and disco, but don’t rule out any genre because he plays by ear and can reproduce the sound of anything he hears! He has a distinctive feel, keeps solid time, and always holds a steady groove. David is an asset to any band and consistently delivers compelling live performances.
