T-Mo Funk and the Blue Meanies was such a fun band for our outdoor, festival event! Tony, the band manager, was incredible professional, accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. The band itself had a great sound, were really entertaining and fun. Overall made for a great night!

I really like Blue minies - very pro and very service oriented. have great sound and knowing what they are doing. Have stage presence and public love them.

They played at my sister-in-law's 50th birthday party and were great. Everyone had a great time. The music was awesome and everyone was dancing. Price was reasonable and they were very accommodating. They even dressed up in the 80's theme of the party. I would recommend this band for any event.

T-Mo Funk & The Blue Meanies were a hit at Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles' Annual Walk For Wishes- the largest community fundraiser benefiting children battling critical illnesses here in LA County. Their blue hair fit perfectly into the Make-A-Wish blue theme! The songs appealed to all of our sponsors, volunteers, staff, wish kids and families! Tony and the band were all fantastic. 10/10 recommend!

Hired the band for my wifes surprise birthday party. Great communication and an enormous set list of songs. We were looking for an eighties/70s/new hits set list and there was plenty to choose from. I also had a special request and they were more than willing to accommodate. Very professional. They have all the latest gear and they sound unbelievable. They made the party special and played an awesome set of songs. I would recommend this band for anyone who is looking to have an easy good time.

Tony was always in communication with me and their part in our fundraiser was seamless. He arrived early to set up and do a sound check, and they even started to play early for us as guests were arriving before we anticipated! SO appreciative of the band being willing to jump in early and get the party started!
They music was fabulous for our reception time. I would definitely hire them again for a future event.

From the very minute Tony reached out to me to follow-up on his initial quote, I knew that this was the right band for my daughter's graduation party. Tony's professional and punctual approach is very much appreciated as many bands are not so. He made it very easy for my daughter to pick out the best songs to be played live and also to be DJ'd throughout the night during breaks. Any songs that they didn't know, they said that they would learn. Needless to say, my daughter had the problem of trying to narrow down the songs from the very large selection that this band plays or will play. The entire song lists are made to keep a party fun for all ages and get people on the dance floor and keep them there all night long. In fact, the band is so seamless in how the switch between playing live and then doing the DJ portion, that you couldn't really tell when they were playing or when they had switched over to a 15 or 30 minute DJ set during breaks. Of course, this also speaks to how good they are when playing live. The live playing and singing is quite good.

Toward the end of the night, Tony even had the band play a few extra songs and didn't charge us any more for it which was just the icing on the cake of how good these guys are.

I also appreciated the band arriving before the party started and getting set up over two hours early. This made it easier for us to get all decorating done but also to avoid the hassle of trying to get a band set-up when people had already arrived.

It's hard to find a band that is so professional yet so complete as T-Mo Funk & The Blue Meanies. It's a rare combination to find especially since they also do the DJ portion as well. They are a complete party in one band and at a reasonable and fair price.

I'm going to book them again for my son's graduation party next year; I'd better get them locked down now as their "Gig-Card" is going to fill-up fast given how good they are! I'd recommend them for any party and for any space, backyard, restaurant, large hall. They are perfect for all types of venues and your entire party, young or old and in-between, will have a blast as long as T-Mo Funk & The Blue Meanies are playing. These guys do it all and CAN do it all!

We had a party for my husband's 60th birthday. There was a wide range of ages at the party from 20 - 75. They had everyone on the dance floor. In fact, we extended the time we booked with them and they graciously stayed. This band goes above and beyond and several of our friends and family are planning on booking them in the future.

Tony was incredible to work with and the whole band couldn't have been nicer.
