Lucas Hunter

I had Luke booked for my husbands 40th surprise party and had NO clue what to expect but Luke took everything into stride and really set the tone for the event. My friends all came up to me individually and said it was perfect. He played all songs we loved and took requests. He even sang for the littles and had them play some bongo drums we had sitting around, while he played the piano. We were singing along for some songs. It was so perfect. I can’t thank him enough.

We had Lucas perform at both the ceremony of our wedding and during our cocktail hour at the Walper hotel in August, 2022. He did an absolutely amazing job! All of our guests were raving about how wonderful he was. He honoured our requests for specific songs at points of our ceremony, and took time to learn them so our day would be perfect. We also wanted 90's hip-hop music played on piano for our cocktail hour, which Lucas was able to come through on. Thank-you Lucas for making our day even more special!

Lucas played music beautifully throughout our event. It was the grand opening for our LTC home and our residents were moving in that day. Lucas played a variety of music and our residents as well as family and staff thoroughly enjoyed Lucas's piano playing. Will definitely keep him in mind for future events.

We hired Lucas to play at a house party for my mothers 80th birthday! Lucas was easy to work with, prompt in returning messages, and gave us many song suggestions for our sing-a-long. Lucas is a wonderful pianist who was flexible to add an extra song or two. Everyone at the party raved about his playing and what a fun addition it was to have him at the party. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

We hired Lucas to perform during the cocktail hour of our wedding reception. He has a wide repertoire of classic and contemporary songs arranged for piano. His performance added a wonderful ambiance to the event, and our guests have since expressed how impressed they were with his live performance. Lucas was courteous, prompt and professional in all his correspondence with us during the booking process; as well as on the event day itself. He is a talented musician and live performer who would be an asset to any event.

We hired Lucas to perform at our fundraiser Very last minute. He was punctual, and added a wonderful value to the event. He played instrumental Jazz and classical, and the crowd just loved it. :)

SINGER was first rate; Drummer was excellent and Lucas made the ivories bounce!
Our venue was indoors; the band was located on a stage; The facility was still under construction but usable. There were no complaints from the band about having to use extension cords for power or for subdued lighting on the dance floor!
Selection of music was such that people could dance or listen and enjoy a PRIVATE concert!
This is a JAZZ band with a raspy edge!
Would I book them again .... WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!!

Lucas did a great job for our wedding at the Walper! Everyone loved his voice and piano playing.

A fantastic event ... at our request he played various Elton John tunes. He also jammed with one of the guests who played clarinet - a couple of pieces from Porgy and Bess and many others. Lucas was comfortable with the guests and accommodating to young children in attendance who wanted to watch him play .... all the best Lucas ....

My wife and i hired Lucas for our wedding. We requested for him to play and sing for a portion of the night to add another dimension to our wedding day. Lucas filled the bill perfectly, his performance was very professional and of a high quality. Lucas put in the time and effort to learn new songs specifically for our wedding. Lucas Hunter did a wonderful job playing at our Speakeasy party. He was on time, professional throughout, and well prepared for the event. The guests really enjoyed his music, and he did a great job with the Speakeasy sound we wanted. We would have him back any time.

Lucas Hunter accompanied my Grade 8 students on piano while they sang the final song of our school graduation ceremony. Mr. Hunter had only a few days to learn the Phil Collin's song, and he was able to do so easily. He was punctual, professional and played beautifully. We highly recommend him.
