Money Da’General was born on January 17, 1989. He began his quest to become a professional rapper when at the age of 12. M.O.N.E.Y is better explained as Motivation Over Negativity to Empower Yourself. He was opening artist for Lil Boosie @ SC State University in 2008. He has then mastered his performance from clubs in Charlotte, NC, such as, The Ultra Lounge, The VIP Lounge, The Wine Up, Tropicz, City Heat, 124, and Dream to name a few. His ambition drove him to winning a citywide competition for opening act for Pastor Troy at The Winterfest in January 2012. His buzz began to spread around the city with the support of 103.3 interview DJ Goodfella , DJ Mr. Get Excited, and DJ Rush introducing him to the Charlotte Area. In June 2012 he recieved 1st place in rap category an 2nd place overall in the Hidden Talent Studios "We Got Talent" in Albemarle NC.
He is influenced by his mother, who is a strong supporter of his musical career, and other members of his family have been his backbone through his developing process. Professional artists that he mentored are Outkast, UGK, 2pac, Biggie, Scarface, and TI.
Money Da’General’s goal is to reach heights and ears no one in his immediate circle has ever reached. He strives to make an extraordinary music and better his family’s life.
