A high-energy acoustic band with 5 years of experience playing private events, Six Feet in the Pine is versatile, dynamic, and easy to work with. We can scale our size up or down to fit any event, and we regularly perform with anywhere from 2 to all 6 of our members. We are happy to be your background music, or take center stage to put on a rollicking show for your guests! SFITP is powered by a strong lead singer backed by huge 4-part harmonies, smoking solos, a driving rhythm section, and energetic stage presence. Our musical range includes folk, bluegrass, country, Americana, and rock. We write music and play a wide variety of covers as well, and we're happy to learn your requests.
My husband and I were already familiar with Six Feet In The Pine before we contacted them to do our wedding. We already knew they were great performers, and had awesome music! What we didn't know, however, was just how prepared, organized, and flawless they were from set-up to take down. With all the wedding day stresses, it was so refreshing and nice to not have to worry about the band. They entertained the crowd, and contributed such a fun, atmosphere for our Rustic-themed wedding. Our day truly was incredible, and a huge thanks goes to Six Feet In The Pine!
Six Feet in the Pine opened for our Summer Outdoor Concert Series, Canyon Jams here in Logan Utah. They were incredibly kind, easy to work with, timely, fun, and drew in a great crowd. With over 160+ attendees, the band kept the show lively and did a great job reading the vibes of the crowd as the night went on. They sounded stellar and I wouldn't be surprised if they gained a Logan following from this show. We would be thrilled to have Six Feet in the Pine back in Logan next summer!

What you can expect from Six Feet in the Pine is a fun and professional performance from top to bottom. We have all the gear we could possibly need to put on a great show whether it's small or large, whether there's just three of us or six. This includes a complete sound system and lighting system.
We show up on time, which for us means plenty early, so that we can get set up, sound checked, and be ready when your event begins. We are completely receptive to your instructions about volume, vibe, etc.
Once the show gets going, you can expect a great time! Our goal is to be the perfect live soundtrack for your event, whether that means being background music or bringing a high-energy performance to get people dancing and partying.
Six Feet in the Pine is not your daddy’s bluegrass.
Equal parts American folk and dark bluegrass, SFITP has been putting on rollicking acoustic shows since 2014. The band has earned a reputation as an acoustic powerhouse in the Salt Lake Valley and beyond, and is consistently ranked at the top of Reverbnation’s Bluegrass chart for Salt Lake City. SFITP have opened for major bands in the genre like The Steep Canyon Rangers, Hot Buttered Rum, Turnpike Troubadours, Head for the Hills, and Billy Strings. Band members have an infectiously good time on stage that the audience won’t even try to resist. The result? A thrilling, spine-tingling, whiskey-drenched, outlaw bluegrass rock show, every time.
Steep Canyon Rangers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Doc Watson, The Avett Brothers, Dolly Parton, Tom Petty, all kinds of rock n' roll and bluegrass!
