Lunar Levitation is a band out of St. Louis, Missouri that formed in the summer of 2011 by friends who shared a common interest in music. Their style consists of a wide variety of music, everything from the music you grew up listening to through today’s hits. Whether your musical taste encompasses Classic Rock, Pop, Blues or Funk, Lunar Levitation delivers each genre authentically.
The band name came from the members’ hope of eventually playing in front of a large crowd and seeing people being lifted off the ground by the bands musical talent. Of course, this is only hypothetically but the members’ best define this as “Levitation.” During discussions the word Lunar came up, so there it was- Lunar Levitation.
The band adopted this concept for their name because they wanted to stand out, be unique and provide an unparalleled entertainment experience.
