If hired to perform, what you get is a 6 piece group of professional and mature individuals. This is for fun, not our livelihood so we all have day jobs and families and can be counted on to be on time and follow whatever rules or guidelines are needed. That makes it easy for the booker or event planner to work with us.

For the crowd, we guarantee a good time and that everyone in the crowd will hear a song they know or have heard before. It is 100% about the crowd when we play and their enjoyment is our sole focus. We do this mostly by playing songs people know as close to the originals as we can but also engage the audience, ask them to sing along, dance, come on stage if they have the desire...nothing is off the table at a LYXX show!

Formed in 2003, Lyxx melds incredible musicianship with a strong sense of fun, playing some of rock's best music like they wrote it and getting fists pumping in the air at every show! Although emphasizing kick-ass 80's hair-metal, Lyxx was formed to let its members play what they love - fans are treated to an ample helping of 70's Glam and a dash of 80’s Thrash mixed in with arena-rock favorites like Bon Jovi, Kiss, Whitesnake, Dokken, Def Leppard and Journey. Great playing ability combined with backing vocals a mile thick lets Lyxx nail it all. If you've listened to rock in the last 30 years, you are going to love Lyxx!

Local to NYC but can play anywhere in the Tri-State area.

Typically look to book Friday and Saturday night gigs along with Sunday afternoons (street fairs, etc) but are open to other available days and times.

Can bring full PA if necessary or work with a pre-existing back-line.
