Born and raised in South Central, Los Angles, California, Mac Fame Tha Great, a.k.a.
Mr Kevin L. Brown, Sr. Is definitely no stranger to the harsh realities faced by today's inner city youth, The Hip-Hop Community.
Growing up in the inner city with it's many traps and life or death situations was a school of lessons hard learned, says
Tha Mac. Fortunately he was introduced to Hip Hop and started pinning his own rhymes and was soon performing in local venues.
After many heated battles
and competitive performances affiliated with the L.A. based popular Hip-Hop and R&B radio station K-DAY, several friendships were formed, giving Tha Mac, "A good seasoning". He clarified himself for U$, "Which means I had a multitude of learning opportunities." Three of those learning opportunities were made when he met and became friends as well as group members with the highly acclaimed production talents of the late and still great, Johnny J. Jackson, who was the genious behind many of 2Pac's universal hits. He's also had the honour of working with other talented elite industry producers and word smiths, such as Michael Angelo and Joseph Warlick respectively. Currently he's recording with 3MG, a Los Angles based production team headed by Kevin Staxs and has plans to release three new singles from the forth coming "Albulation" which is filled with funky 70-ish pimp like vibes mixed with throbbing bass and lyrical wittisizms.
