We hired Madison to play at my husband’s black tie 60th birthday dinner at our home. She was perfect. Very professional, played well and has a great voice. She called prior to the party to discuss the playlist. We’d definitely would hire her again.

I’m so glad I found Madison on here. I hired her for a launch party for my company. When I hired her I asked her to play background Jazz standards, as I’m a big fan of the piano being played by itself. For the first hour, she was flawless and everything I hoped for in a gigsalad.com hire.
As the party went on, people wanted to hear singing, so I asked Madison if she wouldn’t mind changing the show to a singing/playing show. She did, and she did so FLAWLESSLY. From background to a full show in the MIDDLE of the night, it was so nice of her. I’m definitely going to be calling her again.

About
Madison Johnson has been playing the piano since she was 10 years old. Inspired by her dream to become a songwriter, Madison learned how to read music from her dad, but soon became too advanced and started taking piano lessons from a professional jazz pianist, Arlette McCoy Budwig.
As a result of those lessons, Madison grew fond of jazz piano; she studied with Arlette for 5 years and then moved on to study at Pasadena City College for 3 years under the direction of David Arnay, who is also professional jazz pianist and instructor at USC. She was part of the jazz band and big band and performed several shows with them while attending PCC. Now, Madison is an oft sought-after piano teacher, a singer/songwriter/pianist, and a member of the band, “Color Me Home” with Rachel Lindley. This history has given Madison the ability to personalize any performance for her clients.
