Maeve Beck Circus Performer

Maeve Beck was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and began doing circus at the age of eight, taking recreational classes and doing summer camps at The New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro, Vermont. Maeve joined NECCA's advanced youth troupe at the start of high school and the following year was accepted into NECCA's professional training program, ProTrack. There she met coach Sellam El Ouahabi and moved to Biddeford, Maine to train full time at The Sellam Circus School for three years. She specializes in contortion, hand balancing, headstands, and as a hand to hand flyer. Maeve has also been coaching camps, recreational classes and private lessons for many years.
Maeve has performed with the company Cirque Us, touring as a cast member of the show RagTag for a fall festival tour and spring tour. She has also worked with Vampire Circus for their fall tour and Santa Circus at Sea World in San Diego.
