Maggi Mayfield

Maggi Mayfield is a Los Angeles based comedian running two successful shows: a weekly open mic and a monthly showcase show. She has traveled all over the country perfoming for clubs and festivals. Maggi is an established radio personality currently with KOST 103.5, and on air weekends on Star 102.1 (Dallas). She has also spent time running a country FM station near Chicago, and as an on-air talent in Champaign, Illinois, Green Bay, WI, Seattle WA, and Arizona. Her podcast, YTunes Shuffle is getting national press, most recently on Sam Sedar's show "The Majority Report." She has just published her first book, "How To Become A Voice Over Talent Online" and lectures frequently at The Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach helping young students make their way in the world of broadcasting.

She is professionally trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, The Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, CA, and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Latino Studies from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Currently, Maggi spends her free time with the program Step Up! a non-profit organization that mentors young high school women in low-income neighborhoods, giving them the confidence and courage to apply/attend college and achieve their dreams. She also enjoys running and spends time with local shelter dogs giving them weekly exercise. Maggi is working on writing more sketches, developing a television program as well as looking for funding for her latest co-creation a full length action/comedy film.
