Al Nye the Magic Guy

We held a contest contest and Al Nye the Magic Guy did magic for the children and parents. He had such great energy and was very professional. 10/10 reccomend.

Al Nye did a fabulous job at the birthday party. He Was very entertaining for the children and for the adults. This is our third year having a magician and He was by far Our favorite.

Al was very interactive and able to keep kids of all ages occupied throughout the show. The kids were excited and enjoyed the tricks.

Al came to my office to perform for about 20 of my students. They had a wonderful time! He even gave them cards showing them how to perform some tricks.

We hired Al for our 4 year old daughter’s birthday party. Wow was Al wonderful! He kept all the kids entertained (ages 3-7). They were mesmerized with his magic tricks along with the parents too. Definitely a great entertainer for a party! Highly recommend.

Al did an amazing job entertaining both kids and adults at our "Noon" years eve party for kids. Al arrived early and interacted with the guest while everyone was arriving. He even let one of the kids help him practice before the show started. The age range of the kids was 3 - 13 but mostly elementary school age kids. Al kept them ALL entertained for a full hour. I feel like keeping 15 kids engaged, entertained, and sitting for a full hour is magic itself :-)
Every parent at the party agreed that Al was 5 stars and enjoyed his magic show! His magic tricks were the topic of the party trying to figure out how he did them.

Awesome job. We were all entertained. Perfect tricks for our 8 year old crowd. The only thing I would have liked is a call that he was running late. Some guest left and I wasn’t sure if he was still coming. I called and no answer. I thought something bad happened to him but he called 35 minutes later and apologized.

Al was great for our family event. He was very funny and engaging for our whole group. We would definitely have Al come back for another show.

Very interactive with the children and adults!

The show was great and Al involved most of them as his Apprentices. He is very pleasant and entertained our campers. He was patient with their questions. We had some great laughs too !

My son and his friends (and the parents) loved Al's magic show. He's really a great magician and the kids and adults were amazed by his tricks. He has an outgoing, warm personality that was perfect for keeping the kids engaged (despite the limited attention spans of 6-year-olds) and everyone loved him. Marge also made balloon animals for the kids and they were a hit. Thank you both for a great party!

I hired I left minutes since we had little time to plan a party he was very personable interacted very well with the kids the kids were very young most under the age of six do you manage to keep their attention I am I feel he’s a better act for older kids overall very happy with his performance

Al was a great magician and the consummate professional. We had a unique event; in that it was an outdoor child’s birthday party at an animal farm (Mary Has A Little Farm). We asked Al to perform at the very beginning while child guests were arriving and being filled with sugar. Similar to herding cats. Al remained unflustered throughout; and provided the perfect entertainment to kick off our birthday event. I have never hired a magician before, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Al was a wonderfully flexible and down to earth gentleman; and great with the kids. The entire birthday was a success initiated with his performance. We plan to replicate the event next year beginning with Al.

I booked a face painter/balloon twister for my son’s first birthday party and that entertainer canceled the day before the event. So I found Gig salad online and submitted my information. Al Nye the Magic Guy responded right away with information and a quote. He then called me to answer my questions and filled in at the very last minute with awesome entertainment. The kids loved his magic show and the balloon animals. It was even better than my original entertainer. He was so friendly, easy to work with, and professional. I would definitely use him again!

Al Nye the Magic Guy was perfect for our impromptu birthday party for my 11 year old son. We had a wide range of aged kids as well as adults and he entertained us during the entire time. My son and the rest of the party had a great time and I would recommend him to others if you are wanting good clean family fun.

He held the attention span of 4-5 yr olds the entire time. Anyone that can do that deserves a medal! He also included many of the children in the show.

Al did a wonderful job with the kids. he was able to tell that the younger/toddler kids were getting lost and that they didnt have the attention span, so he changed his routine to work with the older kids and teach them some of his tricks and the older kids absolutely enjoyed it while the younger kids went and did something else. I would use him again in the future.

It was my first time hosting a birthday party in my home being the venue for my son. I had a difficult time deciding whether or not to hire a clown or magician because of the different age ranges of children that were going to be attending the event. I decided for a magician and requested for it to Al Nye because of the reviews I read on him. The tricks were pretty good and interesting to watch, but he didn’t really seem to have the audiences attention for too long. I felt that the vocabulary towards the audience was a bit confusing to understand. There was no type of motivation to have children involved in the show. The set up of the performance was a bit lame. There was no music or sound effects during the show. Magician arrived a bit to early from the time requested. Parents feed back was that the magician was ok.

Decent show, but due to weather and the playground right next to us, it made it difficult to keep kids attention.

Mr. Al Nye was great with the kids, funny, entertaining, on time. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend him for a party.

As the hostess of my child’s party I didn’t get a chance to pay attention to the show but I received great feedback from my guests that Al was very entertaining and appealed to both the kids and adults making everyone laugh and was very interactive. Didn’t rate a full five stars because unfortunately the show started 35 mins late because of an assumption resulting in him driving to the wrong hotel Venue location and I had a time frame to stick to. But nonetheless it was a great show and everyone enjoyed!

Our HOA hosted a Halloween magic show and asked Al Nye to be our magician. He communicated well in the planning period, showed up on time and our kids and parents were well entertained by Al Nye the Magic Guy. We welcome him back to our community!!!

Hired Al for my son's 5th birthday party. He got all the children and even some adults involved. Everyone had a great time. He arrived early and was ready to go when we were. Very professional and reasonable price.

Mr. Al Nye performed at two of our Good News Clubs. The kids loved him. While each trick was being performed, they were totally silent but when the suprise came, you could hear them all react with amazement. But that's not the best part of Mr. Nye's tricks. The best thing about them is that each one helps illustrate a timeless truth found only in the gospel of Christ.

Al was great! He arrived early, was professional and friendly. He entertained about 20 kids from ages 3-10 for an hour, plus a group of crazy parents! He even handled some of the unpredictable things kids can say, with grace and humor, never getting flustered:) We all really enjoyed the show and would absolutely recommend him to our friends. In fact, a lot of our guests, including our PTA Pres, asked for Al's card and will hopefully book him in the future:) Thanks, Al!

After comparing several magicians (and their prices), I chose Al Nye for my 6 year-old's birthday party.
Pros: very nice man, flexible with indoor/outdoor and with times, kept kids' interests, does work with school district and with churches, best price
Cons: show was short of the 45 minutes, no magician costume

Our church recently had a large scale celebration and he provide a 45 minute magic show that was not only entertaining, but was relevant and brought the message of the gospel alive! I appreciate his professionalism and positive attitude. We will be sure to book him in the future.

Al Nye came to our God News Club and shared with approx. 50 children during our Valentine's Party Club. The children were captivated by his magic show.

Al provided a Children's Magic Show and strolling magic at the Tampa Children's Expo. He was fantastic! Children AND their parents enjoyed his magic throughout the day and he was wonderful with our audience! Al was the perfect fit for our event and exactly what we were looking for!

Quick on his feet, very clever

AL was fantastic, he came and presented to my freshman leadership classes. We have been discussing character all year and he revisited many of these character traits while keeping the kids attention with his miagic. They were very intrigued and loved having him.
