Beginning his studies at a very young age, Sean has extensively researched all aspects of performance including scriptwriting, comedy, phonology, acting, physical theatre, improvisation, and of course, magic.
Having joined both the Fraser-Valley Magic Company, and the International Brotherhood of Magicians in 2018, Sean has had the opportunity of attending numerous professional magician lectures to further enhance his skills, and expand his repertoire. His dedication and commitment earned him accolades, including winning the Junior Member Originality Award at the Fraser Valley Magic Company's Originality Competition in 2018.
Sean embarked on his professional journey in 2019, securing his first corporate event with none other than the renowned Save-On-Foods. The crowd was astounded, and the manager later stated the staff were talking about the performance for many months to come.
Continuing to evolve as an entertainer, Sean furthered his education by beginning his full-time studies in the Douglas College Theatre Program, studying the art of performance, while receiving direct feedback from instructors.
In 2022, Sean wowed patrons with his mind-bending tricks at the Mission Springs Brewing Company while mingling between tables, every Saturday during peak hours.
The recognition received by Sean only continued to grow, as he was offered an opportunity to perform at Peterbilt's Christmas Party and Award Show in 2022, leaving attendees in awe, spreading joy, wonder, and connection, throughout the entirety of the event.
Their unwavering dedication to his craft paid off in April 2023, when Sean was awarded the highly sought-after Douglas College Theatre Diploma, solidifying his expertise and commitment to delivering an exceptional performance.
During the summer of 2023, Sean Whittaker delighted guests at Rocko's Diner, where he received great reactions, gaining large respect from both patrons, and staff alike.
