MAGNUS MAGNIFICENT
Real name: Magnus christian Hedegaard
Born: 17 November 1992
Hometown: Tisvilde, Denmark
Growing up in the small beach town Tisvilde, with a father who was a famous preacher and television personality, Magnus suffered a lot of bullying in school and developed Anorexia (Eating disorder)
Having been introduced to magic by his Aunt, the young Magnus developed his skills further after his mother bought him a magic kit. Magic added a positive element to Magus's life and helped him winning the battle against his eating disorder. He quickly gained a reputation in his small town with his unique magical skills and it helped him win friends
Magnus loved American movies and music and dreamed of living in America from a very early age. So at the age of twelve, he taught himself to speak English fluently, which was a big help in the years to come.
In 2010 during a vacation to America, Magnus went to see Criss Angel's Show “Believe” in Las Vegas.
He was picked out of 1600 people to go on stage and assist the master illusionist with one of his amazing tricks.
Criss Angel without knowing who Magnus was, looked into his eyes and said “I knew you were a magician when I brought you up on stage. You remind me of myself when I was younger”
From that moment on Magnus knew it would be his destiny to end up in America.
Magnus father was a self-made millionaire in the real estate market, but in 2011 had to declare bankruptcy after his business partner made a financial mistake.
He decided to bring the family to America in the pursuit of a new life based on the promises of the American dream.
Magnus was eighteen at the time and had just finished high school, when he saw it as his chance to come to America.
He spent the summer of 2011 working with a construction company building houses, so that he could save enough money up and join his family in America.
When he first arrived to America, he moved in with his family in a little rental house.
His father had a work permit , but could barely make enough to support the family and pay for immigration papers..
Without a work permit Magnus was forced to work odd jobs that paid cash like sign holding, moving furniture and as a bathroom attendant.
At the same time he volunteered to feed the homeless and put a smile on their face with his magic.
In 2014 Magnus was sitting in a coffee shop practicing magic, when the famous Las Vegas comedian “Carrot Top” walked through the door. The playing cards caught his attention and two minutes later his jaws drops to the floor when he witnessed Magnus's incredible sleight of hand. They became friends immediately.
“YOU ARE GOING TO BE A BIG STAR” -Carrot Top
One month after meeting Carrot top, he felt inspired to take a leap of faith.
He decided to plan a networking trip to Miami with the hope finding better opportunities to build his dreams.
Only owning a motorcycle, he saved enough money up for his trip, but a week before he was supposed to leave from Orlando, he was cruising down the road on his motorcycle and a car hit him. Miraculously he was not harmed and with the money that the insurance paid out from the accident, Magnus was able to repair the damage on his motorcycle and still have more than enough for an extended trip.
The ambitious motorcycle trip to Miami, was just the beginning of what was to come.
Magnus spend a month in Miami, sleeping in hostels and on the couches of strangers. Not within long, he managed to find an agent, that landed him a gig, at the famous "Fountain Bleu Hotel" in South-Beach, where he performed for celebrities, such as Latin Singer Gloria Estafan, Two time heavy world Champion Shannon Briggs and the Mayor of Miami.

He spend the first year in Vegas, Streetperforming, Net working and saving his Money, so that he could prepare for future oppurtunities.
