Makai Show truly exceeded all expectations! They made the trip up to Prescott to perform at our Senior Living community’s Summer Luau, and I can confidently say they were the highlight of our event.
From the very start, their professionalism was evident. The booking process was seamless—they were prompt, incredibly kind, and made everything so easy. Their communication was top-notch, which made planning effortless.
But the real magic happened during the performance. Our residents, most of whom are over 80, were completely captivated. It’s rare to see so many of them so engaged, smiling, and even dancing! The energy and joy that Makai Show brought were absolutely infectious. The performers were not only talented but also hilarious, making everyone feel comfortable and included.
I’ve never seen our residents have so much fun—they were laughing, moving, and genuinely enjoying themselves throughout the entire show. It was a beautiful sight to see, and it truly made the event special.
Without a doubt, I would book them again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking to bring happiness and entertainment to any event, look no further. They’re simply the best!

I had the pleasure of having the Makai Show perform at my daughters birthday. It was a captivating performance featuring both hula and haka, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The dancers exhibited incredible skill, precision, and passion throughout the entire show. Not to mention funny and entertaining.
The Hawaii hula, Tahiti hula and Samoa dance performance was graceful, with the dancer effortlessly conveying stories through the movements.
The New Zealand Haka performance was nothing short of powerful. The energy emanating from the dancer was palpable, as he stomped, chanted, and performed with intense fervor. It was a raw display of strength and cultural pride that left a lasting impression on everyone in the audience.
My personal favorite was the fire dance, What truly set this performance apart was the seamless blend of elegance and excitement. While the dancer exuded poise and precision, there was an undeniable sense of danger and excitement in the air as he skillfully manipulated the fire with daring flair.
I highly recommend experiencing this mesmerizing performance firsthand—it's a true feast for the senses.

Makai Show was hired to provide entertainment at the end of a beach-themed youth leadership conference. Despite some challenges with the venue itself, Makai Show was super-flexible and easy-going. Both dancers were friendly and talented. They engaged the audience well and added great humor and fun to the day. The young people enjoyed the show and even learned some of the basic dance moves!

We had them perform at my wife’s retirement party and they were phenomenal! They greeted our guests at the front door and presented each one with a flower lei. The show was awesome and they performed all the traditional dances of the pacific islands. They got our guests involved by having the men and women learn a dance that was a lot of fun too. The fire dance was amazing and both dancers were extremely talented. I highly recommend them for your next party or corporate event!! Aloha!!!!

Makai Hawaiian entertainment was amazing from booking to end of show. They responsed to our request asap, in fact they were the only ones to respond and they were professional from start to finish. They communicated regularly and didn't leave me wondering. They arrived 30 minutes before to set up and gave an amazing show. Performed dances from different islands. Invited guests up to participate and performed a mind blowing fire show to finish. All our guests were thrilled and my Dad was so happy. I would hire Makai to perform again and their performance is suitable for any type of party.

We had Makai Show come out for a Luau event at our local Elks Lodge and everyone absolutely loved them! Loved the way they get people involved and the great personality of the entertainers. It made for a fun experience to end our evening with great memories for all. Will definitely book again in the future. They have proven they can bring the fun!

We hired the Makai show for our fire and ice school assembly. The moment he hit the floor, the students and staff were in awe. Everyone was engaged and he really knows how to get the crowd involved. We also had a performance at our basketball game at night and so many people were astonished by the performance. Not to mention he was open to taking pictures with the new fans of the Makai show! Highly recommend for any performance and you I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

We hired the Makai Show for our son’s 10th birthday and it did not disappoint. From the onset he was friendly and got the kids (and parents) involved right away in experiencing the amazing culture he had to offer through his dances. The fire show was definitely the highlight, which was fantastic! He even stuck around after for pictures with my son and his friends. Definitely something we do again - it was great from start to finish!

About
We, the islands of Polynesia have always been so proud of what we are made of and what our ancestors have laid before us, specifically to remember who and what we represent! Such as dancing, but behind these motions and moves, there is a story being told and that is the meaning of sharing our cultures with you.
"MAKAI SHOW" influenced by the ocean, and voyagers before us, that brings us here to where we are today. To show respect and gratitude to those before us, we a willing to share our talents where ever we may be at, not only to educate families and friends but to be educated. Our cultures and traditions are very much alive today from village to village and just like the way it is at home, we bring home(islands) to you!
