Captain Jim was prepared, early, flexible and good-humored throughout given that he played for a party of 80-year-olds several hours from his home! He was very responsive and eager to please. Great experience!

I am not really sure where to start other than to say that from start to finish this amazing duo was such a blessing to work with. They have such kind hearts and are beyond talented musicians. They made our celebration of life so memorable. I would recommend them 1000%!!

I hired Makani E for my company summer picnic and they were absolutely fabulous! They brought the sounds of the Hawaiian islands to our group and really kept the flow of the afternoon going. Rozz even taught our group how to Hula the Hukilau, it was awesome. If you want a relaxing and fun time I totally recommend Jim and Rozz for your event. We hired Makani E for a summer happy hour event. They did a great job in maintaining a respectable volume that allowed our group of seniors to listen and talk at the event. They showed up early to get situated and were very easy to work with. We will definitely be hiring them again.

Kimo and Lokelina were amazing. They were professional and arrived when expected. They asked what kind of music we liked and played a great mix of songs I requested and others that helped to create a great vibe. I loved that they shared informationand stories about the songs. Lokelina also did a beautiful hula. The time they spent out our they brought the Aloha spirit. We were transported back to the islands. It was an amazing evening. Would highlyrecommendhiring them for your special event. Definitely would hire again.

Amazing .....so much fun. Hawaiian traditions coupled with fun dance music. Got the whole wedding party, kids, grandparents and alll the fuddy duddies on the dance floor. Thankyou for bringing Hawaii to our Oregon wedding❤️

I booked them at the last minute and was absolutely thrilled that they could perform at our company picnic on such short notice. Not only that, but Rozz and Jim are really terrific people, and they really put on a show. Beautiful voices and talented musicians! They saved the day!

If you're looking to please a crowd, Makani E (Rozz and Jim) are a fantastic choice! We hired them for a Luau-themed Community Cookout and they really went above and beyond as performers. They arrived early and ready to set-up, supplied some fun little giveaways for the kids, and even did a hula lesson! Did I mention how amazing they sounded? You can tell these two really love what they do and that created an authentic and genuine experience of our guests. We are even considering making this an annual event because we loved working with them so much and the guests loved their music, too!

Jim and Rozz were the perfect musical duo for our Hawaiian-themed summer party. They had a great repertoire of music – from traditional Hawaiian to crowd-pleasing island songs (Somewhere Over the Rainbow). The highlight of the party was a luau dancing lesson that Rozz taught to about half of our group (those tipsy enough to try!) – it was great silly fun! Such a memorable night, and it wouldn't have been the same without them! Thank you, Makani E!

We hired Makani E to be our entertainment for our work New Year's Party and I was blown away. These two were really amazing and played a variety of songs, which was great as there was a wide range of taste! They not only sang for our group, but they truly helped to liven things up with Hula lessons and dancing. I would highly recommend Makani E for any group and can't wait until I have the opportunity to bring them back again!

I hired Makani E for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Hawaii and we wanted Hawaiian music. We were so pleased with how Jim & Rozz catered and interacted with the audience. Even though it wasn't Hawaiian, it was fun when they taught us how to do the electric slide. Their music is great and we recommend them to everyone.
