Bridal Makeup is our specialty but we can vamp you up for any of the following: Magazines: Fashion & Trade Journals, Executives, Engagements, Expectant Mom Pics, Senior Pics, Proms, well any event where you have to look your best.
The "Beauty Team Pro's" are available to go “on location” if you are planning an event and need your stylist to be mobile. We travel anywhere, but charge a small fee for travel outside 20 mile radius of our location. We don't have a minimum. Whether you are one executive, or a bride with a full entourage we are there to make your day perfect!
We have 5 salon locations and evening appointments for those that work. So easy! A perfect “fit” based on your preferences and budget. Call us for more info or to schedule a trial at a location closest to you.

I needed professional headshots and was very nervous about the entire process. I'm pretty much an introvert and these types of things make me very uncomfortable. Carolina's professionalism and expertise came across immediately and my anxiety subsided in speaking to her alone. When the headshots came back, I was more than impressed. I didn't look overly made-up or fake in any way, but just as confident in my photos as I was in her ability.

My daughter is an aspiring Opera singer and needed head-shots. One criteria mentioned by the pros was to have her make-up professionally done. This is a review for the wonderful Carolina. She did my makeup for my head shots about a week ago, and I'm not one that enjoys taking pictures...unless they turn out well, haha. And they did! I could not have been more thrilled with Carolina from Makeup Mavens on Location at Bardha Salon in Birmingham and will never go anywhere but to her for future events. I wish I had known about her for all of our children's weddings. I am 63 with fine, and not so fine lines, which in the past after a makeup application have been accentuated and caked into. Carolina expertly airbrushed the most beautiful, soft and natural looking foundation. Just gorgeous. Her eye application was sexy but subtle and very natural. At our black tie event, I received so many compliments. Having been ill and on many medications the 2 weeks prior, my skin was anything but glowing until Carolina went to work. In a word, WONDERFUL. She explained each step, gave advice on skincare, was so pleasant to chat with and her pricing was unbelievably conservative for the results. I cannot recommend Carolina more highly and can't wait to go again. If you are looking to be magazine beautiful without being overdone you need to go see Carolina. Carolina did such an incredible job with my makeup for my engagement session as well as my big day. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered big time; I looked beautiful and natural. Carolina is very experienced in her field, you can see that after just spending a few moments with her. She went above and beyond to accommodate me, as well as my wedding party. The air brush makeup looked stunning and she did a great job at making my wedding makeup look unique and not exactly the same as my engagement makeup. I highly recommend her. I would say that we have been most influenced by our experience and exposure in the fast paced environment of editorial and runway makeup applications. The days are long, not necessarily glamourous although the end result on the runway or magazine are always super. Same experience in the film industry. We love making transformations and setting styles for the season. This happens purely by what the consumer sees and likes. If we see our style popping up all around the country we know we were in sync with the fashionistas! We love making people beautiful..... all ages, all lifestyles and for all occasions. We love what we do and it shows!
