Transform Your Next Event: Host a Powerful Screening of my documentary, Built to Last: Buyer Beware and Uncover the Hidden Truths of Home Construction. Why do some homes stand the test of time while others become ticking time bombs? Narrated by award-winning actor Dylan Baker, this film uncovers the untold stories of homeowners, exposes gaps in the building industry, and offers solutions that can empower every consumer and policymaker. The film is followed by a Q&A with the director.

The event would include a screening of my documentary film Built to Last: Buyer Beware, which is 74 minutes long. We can provide a shorter version if necessary. I will have a brief talk before the film and after, along with questions and answers from the audience.
George Siegal (Writer-Director-Producer) began his career in front of the camera as a weathercaster, newscaster, sportscaster, and feature reporter. He worked in major markets around the U.S. including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Detroit.
More recently, Siegal started the documentary film company Move the World Films to take advantage of his many years of news background to highlight important issues to mass audiences around the world. He wrote, directed, and produced the award-winning documentary film The Last House Standing (a wake-up call for homeowners to understand the hazards that occur where they live, and to know how their house will hold up when disaster strikes) and License to Parent (which offers insight into the troubling issue of bad parenting and presents a path to improve it).
We need some type of video device to play the film in whatever format you have available.
I was a television weatherman for 14 years, covering and forecasting disasters. As a film director, I've made two films that feature what can go wrong when disaster strikes and why we need to do a better job of deciding where to live and what we live in. As a Florida resident, I've experienced hurricanes firsthand, and bring my perspective to the challenge of deciding where to live.
