I'm a professional singer with over 15 years of experience singing at weddings, corporate events, galas, private parties and world famous venues. I perform my own original music as well as covers. I have a full band (piano, drums, bass and guitar) and 2 background singers that I travel with for all of my gigs. I love to perform and would love to be a part of your next event!
Malynda was a great addition to our event, creating both a draw towards our footprint and a soothing background for business conversations. A mix of upbeat, eclectic and soulful sounds, I would highly recommend Malynda for any corporate function.
Malynda is AMAZING. She's professional, talented, and so easy to work with. Plus she's a total sweetheart. We discussed the type of music and feel we were looking for and she more than delivered. Malynda is also very flexible. We were planning for an outdoor event but had an unusually rainy Summer day. Malynda and her team didn't miss a beat, set up indoors, and adjusted everything necessary to create a terrific ambiance for our event. We'll definitely book Malynda again!
Booked Malynda for our grand opening event. The only regret I have is not spending enough time promoting the event properly. Every person I talked to days after the event gushed about her performance. What is most important though, is she impressed some people who are really important in regards to taking our venue to the next level. Would love to have her perform here again!
I organized a Peace Vigil for my church a few years ago and asked Malynda to sing. She immediately pulled out her datebook to see if she was free, which I was impressed by because I didn't have to wait for an answer. I would not have minded if she had told me she had to get back to me but it made me feel like a priority. During the planning phase I corresponded with her through e-mail and I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response from her. She was on time and sang "Amazing Grace" beautifully. Her voice is incredible and she breathes life into every song.
I was very impressed by her positive attitude and the attention she gave to the event. She made me feel like I was the only event she had that week, which I'm sure was not the case. This was also an event where Malynda was providing a free service, so to be treated like a top priority for something that she was not getting paid for meant a lot to me.
A few months later I attended an online concert Malynda hosted. A few friends and I decided to host a viewing party at our Church. During the show Malynda personally thanked us for setting up the party. It is the small gestures like that that matter most and when booking a professional singer/songwriter for any event it speaks volumes to be treated like a priority weather my event is big or small.
Malynda's presence will make anyone feel at ease and in a lighter mood. Because of my experience I would definitely recommend her for any event large or small.
The whole SHE-bang! Malynda was the consummate professional, articulate artist, and, of course, a delectable center piece. I've been working with talent of all levels for over 12 years and she defeats all performer stereotypes. On the business end, her communication, responsiveness, and promptness were on task and she truly blossomed when it was time to take the stage! All eyes and ears were on her! Our event guests ($250k fundraiser) were enthralled and impressed. I HIGHLY recommend Malynda!!! As for her celebrity counterparts, I'll reserve my comments for now! :-)
