Mama's Hot Sauce was the PERFECT band to hire for our party! If you need a band to have some fun and rocking music this is the band to have. They played super songs that got us dancing. Everyone at the party was messaging us the next day on how much they loved the band. Their set lists was great and super long. Their price was completely reasonable. Mama's Hot Sauce is a four piece rockabilly band from Michigan.
All very experienced and talented musicians who are well versed in this genre.
Paula, our lead singer cut her teeth on classic rock covers before she met John, her husband. She fell in love with him and rockabilly music and its lifestyle.
John, who plays guitar and sings, is originally from the Netherlands and has an extensive career as a rockabilly musician through part of Europe. Highlight was definitely opening for the late Carl Perkins in four different countries.
Steve plays upright bass and brings a special energy to our shows
Chris takes care of the beats and shenanigans at our shows.
Humor and professionalism go hand in hand in Mama's Hot Sauce and the members consider each other as family.
If needed they can provide pro sound and light equipment. Either way a great show and fun times are guaranteed with Mama's Hot Sauce.
For small stages and venues Mama's Hot Sauce can provide its own p.a. system.
We can provide some lighting if necessary.
For larger venues and outdoor gigs a powerful and professional p.a. system with sound engineer is required.
A raised stage is preferred to provide good visibility and sound projection but is not required.
We do require enough safe and grounded power strips or power outlets.
In case of poor weather conditions during outdoor gigs ample protection from the elements for the band and their equipment is required and must be approved by the band members.
