Marc Bernier has a diverse musical and professional background.
“A man with a Big Voice”, and varied instrumental skills. He is equally at home with Guitar, Mandolin, and Tenor Banjo while he sings. An accomplished percussionist, he has played the Bodhran with several prominent Irish music performers and Frottior with almost everyone in the northeastern Cajun/Zydeco community. Marc plays Bodhrans he has built at his shop in Westerly, RI. Marc’s song repertoire comes mostly from Ireland, the UK, and Northeastern US, with a significant focus on pub songs and drinking songs, developed through years of research in the field.
