Marcus Tinsley is a full-time singer/songwriter, located in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a invited to be a contestant on season 18 of American Idol, which is when he received an assertive 'Yes' from all 3 celebrity judges. His new single, 'Butterflies', recently premiered on SIRIUS XM and was signed to Warner Music.
Marcus sings a variety of music, ranging from classics to modern day hits.
He is available for booking throughout Arizona and will consider out of state bookings, as well.

Marcus made my Austic nephew's 16th birthday extra special because he took special interest in learning about what would make him happy. Marcus created the perfect celebration. Happy he was... Happy were all the adults. It was a joyful 30 minutes of dancing and singing along.
One Man Band
We hired Marcus for my husband’s 40th birthday. The guests were blown away by his voice! He made our event so special! He took any song requests we had, let us use his system for speeches and even brought lights and a bubble machine for the kids to play in. He was very accommodating and INCREDIBLY, incredibly talented. We highly recommend Marcus Tinsley!!

We hired Marcus for our wedding and he was a one-stop shop for all our needs. He brought all his own equipment, served as our MC for the entire evening, provided background acoustics, managed playlists for us, and had a phenomenal performance. Music is such an important part of a wedding and we couldn't have asked for more! Our guests were extremely impressed of his vocals and were complimentary of his energy he brought to the evening. He far exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend Marcus!

After watching over some of Marcus’s videos, we quickly decided he’d be the perfect fit to play at our annual corporate holiday party. He did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job for our party. He did a great job Interacting with all 150+ guests and making sure everyone was having a great time. Throughout his show we were able to submit song requests/announcements to his wife, which she relayed back to him, making the entire performance go very smoothly. They arrived early, were very professional and were extremely responsive to all our guests’ requests. I will definitely have them back out again in the future!

Marcus entertained a small group of friends in our backyard for two hours. He showed up early to set up inside and then we decided that it was cooling down enough to move outside. He took requests, kept people involved in the music, and we feel lucky that he was available for our friends birthday party. We will absolutely consider hiring Marcus for future events.

What to Expect
Former American Idol contestant- Marcus Tinsley, shows up to events approx. 45 minutes early for set-up and sound check. He requires very minimal space, and provides all his own equipment. Marcus will come prepared with a custom set-list, for your specific event. He performs a wide variety of music, ranging from classics, all the way to modern top charting hits, to his very own SIRIUS XM original songs.
You may message Marcus prior to you event for song requests, and he will put together a custom set list.
Additional Booking Notes
Marcus will need a flat, 5ftx5ft space, and access to 1 outlet within 25 feet of the performance area.
He will come with all his professional equipment, ready to put on a great show!
