I can't begin to describe the positive impact Mariachi Cielo Azul had on my daughter's wedding. I'm from El Paso, TX, and mariachis are a tradition for all types of celebrations. I've got to admit that it was a little bit of a challenge to book mariachis long distance, but the Gigsalad made things a lot easier. They put out 10 bids locally, only 3 responded. Two said they couldn't make it on this date, but Marichi Cielo Azul responded and were available. I jumped on it, and the rest was history. They were slightly delayed, but they communicated with me all the way. Once they arrived, they were an instant hit. We had guests from all over the country, and everyone was delighted. It was a nice touch, you have got to have Mariachis for a Texas wedding. They went from outside to inside flawlessly, and played requests. Since they are associated with UT Austin, I requested the UT fight song (my new son-in-law is a UT graduate) and that was a big hit. Nothing but kudos from me and everyone there. They had a 8 member group and mostly younger members, so that was great for the wedding guests. This was the first time I ever booked Mariachis, so I don't know the going rate, but it was the best investment for this wedding. They made a lot of people happy, and also caused happy tears (that's what Mariachi music does). Very pleased.

They played for our housewarming/birthday party and were excellent! Professional and SO talented. They could sing, they could play, they were funny and engaging… what else could you ask for? No need for debate, just go ahead and book them, they are worth it!

MARIACHI Cielo Azul played for a significant event that was very important to us. They exceeded our expectations. They arrived on time despite parking challenges, they were professional, courteous and respectful of the audience and location, and were welcoming and hospitable to all. You don’t see large mariachis anymore, and this group of nine were outstanding.

There are not enough stars to rate this great group of musicians. They started our night for our daughters quinceanera magically done. They played to my guests. Handled every request our guests threw at them. Serenaded table to table while eating dinner. They were such a classy touch to our daughters special day. Thank you for making our memorable night 10 times higher than our expectation was. They added the WOW factor to the whole night!!!

Mariachi Cielo Azul was incredible and really helped create a warm, intimate atmosphere for our wedding. All our guests raved about their performance and really helped make our day very special. Talented musicians and singers! Thank you again for everything.

The group was shy at first. Very low voices, but did much once they warmed up. The biggest disappointment was that it was only a 4 man group. I expected at least 5-6 for the price. Overall, it was a surprise to the bride and the guests all enjoyed it!

Everything was spectacular! Enjoyed every minute.

The band was very entertaining and made our event fun. Their music and voices were great. They had a good selection of authentic mariachi music and they also took request. Would hire them again in the future.

These guys are awesome; great energy, funny, talented musicians and singers with a great repertoire. Each of the four músicos we’re talented in their roles. They were fantastic for my girlfriend’s 40th birthday. A huge hit and well worth it. I believe the owner of the bar hired them to play a recurring gig.

Thank you so much for coming out and performing for my parents 50th anniversary. Would definitely be getting y'all again in the future.

This group of young men are fantastic. They are not only professional they are on time, excellent musicians and accommodating. I hired Mariachi Cielo Azul as a surprise for my wife at her birthday party. The band was amazing. They played a beautiful mariachi version of “Happy Birthday”, several classics and even a few contemporary songs, which was very fun. The band was very professional and communicative. 100% would hire again!

Excellent service for our wedding this past weekend! Mariachi Cielo Azul got back to me immediately when we put in an inquiry for our wedding day. We actually live in Chicago and planned everything long distance, so the fact that they had easy communication was great and reassuring. We had a great conversation about our wedding and what we were hoping to play, leading up to the wedding. On the day of, they arrived on time -clean and polished- in traditional mariachi outfits and really Wow'ed our guests! They had one group member that got caught in traffic and had to join in the music later so they decided to play for an additional 15 minutes. My husband's family loves traditional mariachi and had many compliments for the musicians. As a professional wedding planner And as a bride, I would totally recommend Mariachi Cielo Azul again!

I was happy with the mariachi band that played for my son's birthday. I wasn’t happy that there was a mix up in the timing booked. They arrived at noon instead of 2, and kept trying to play early. It was their mistake. All worked out in the end, they stayed to play at the booked time and did a wonderful job with the songs requested and even an extra surprise song that was perfect for my son.

So Austin, so outstanding, so fun. Great group of people great group of musicians. Excellent vocals and instrumentation. Great tonation and pitch. Made it very special for us and learned a requested tune. I’d do 6 stars if they would let me!

I threw a party for my husband and as a gift I surprised him with mariachis right as we were cutting the cake. When looking for a mariachi band I didn’t know what to look to look for I posted an ad on GigSalad. Mariachi Cielo Azul was the first band to send me a quote. I ended up booking with bc I liked the videos they posted to FB and bc they were young UT students. My husband is a die heart UT Longhorns fans so the very last song they played was The Eyes of Texas. When he got home he told me he almost cried 🤫 haha. Would definitely book them again. Everyone really enjoyed them!!!

I hired this group for a holiday party surprise and they wowed the attendees. They were talented, open to requests, and even stopped by my kids' party down the street to serenade them at no extra cost. I'd hire them again.
