I hired Mariachi Costa Azul to play my dad’s 70th birthday party. They were very talented and we enjoyed their performance very much. They made sure they showed up early and were very good at communicating throughout the whole process. We will definitely hire them again!
I got lucky Mariachi Costa Azul was available for my uncle's 60th birthday celebration (the event was a little last minute, and I was looking for a Mariachi a few days before the event) I loved Jessica's prompt response, she got back to me quickly. Overall, their rate is reasonable, and I appreciated that all 9 performers could make it (I was guaranteed a minimum of 5 performers). They sang all 9 requested songs, and my family really enjoyed the variety of the songs. I also liked that they didn't have a minimum 1 or 2-hour requirement.
I hired Mariachi Costa Azul for my daughter’s quinceañera to enter an sing las Mañanitas and perform during the dinner hour. They were prompt to respond, punctual and have a large variant of music to select from. Mariachi costa azul exceeded my expectations. They were beautifully dressed, had a larger number of musician than I expected and sang amazingly. I was so happy and my guests really enjoyed them.
I will definitely hire them again for other events.

I was so glad that we went with Mariachi Costa Azul. I let them know that this would need to be an acoustic set without microphones or amplifiers due to decibel-level restrictions at the property where the event was taking place. This worked out perfectly! They came in playing to the surprise and delight of our guests. The volume was loud enough to be heard but not overpowering so our guests could still converse. They are excellent musicians and even offered to stay a little extra if we wanted them to... which of course we did because our dinner attendees loved them. This is a group of young people from the area. They are very professional. They arrived on time, and communicated well before, during, and after the event. They were a joy to work with. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Mariachi costa azul was amazing ! I was told last minute I should surprise my fiancé with a a mariachi band for her wedding shower , literally 6 hours before the shower . I reached out , within 20 minutes recieved a quote and began chatting with them about what I wanted . They were so amazing , showed up on time . Very respectful .. we're the absolute hit of the party . I will 100% use these guys again ! What a special moment they gave us . Thanks to the band !!! Y'all rule !!

I enjoyed the mariachi. They pulled off two hours and made my party amazing. My family loved them. They sounded competent and were well disciplined.
Had these guys play for my grandma's wedding anniversary. For such a young group of musicians they sounded great. Had all of us dancing! Thanks for making this day special for my grandparents. Looking forward to booking this group again.

We offer customized planning from size of group, song selection, walk-ins with wedding couples, to surprise arrivals and more. You'll find that it's a simple process for booking and managing event details with Mariachi Costa Azul. You'll be contacted as soon as possible regarding your quote, easy booking, and reminder before your event.
Confirmation of event requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking ($100 per scheduled hour). We cannot hold onto dates until deposit is received. In the event of unforseen circumstances, and with at least 30 days in advance, you may request a refund of funds paid in addition to your deposit. Deposit may be used for future bookings pending client's needs and group availability.
Having a prepared list of songs allows for smoother flow of a show. Send in your list as soon as possible to allow an organized showmanship for your event.
On the day of your event, you'll be met/contacted by the group upon arrival. If possible, please have 1-2 parking spots available for musicians to arrive in a timely fashion. Contracted time is expected to be prompt but accommodating to client's event necessities within reason. Performance shall commence on cue or as agreed in contract details per client request.
For every hour of performance (set), musicians are allotted 10 minutes of break in between each set. At the end of contracted performance time, performers would close their show and make their way off the stage or performance area.
At this time, client shall payout any remainder to musicians. Payments on day of event are payable only in cash. If planning on paying with a credit/debit card, please allow at least 5 days prior to your event to process through our payment system.
Events located outside of San Diego require a 2 hour minimum of contracted performance time.

Mariachi Costa Azul consists of young musicians of 18-30 years old. This is an energetic and outgoing group that thrives for excellence in every performance. Group has been together for the past 6 years. With an average of 10+ years of experience, the group has a fresh outlook for clientele requests and needs. Mariachi Costa Azul has experience from weddings, quinceañeras, misas, parades, concerts, and accompanying artists. The group has a large range of musical selection and variety. Because of the consistent strive for success, musicians can also comply to many requests aside from your average traditional folk music such as oldies, English selections, and more. Thus allowing for a more customized performance.
If sound system is needed, prior notification must be given in client's request at the time of booking. Quaint travel system of speaker(s), microphones, and stands shall be brought upon request. Space must be allotted for sound system and time for setup is necessary before performance time. Surprise shows/arrival performances are exceptions. Arrangements shall be made/setup beforehand.
