They really know how to liven up a party and tailor their repertoire to match the occasion. Of course, most mariachi songs but there's some pop thrown in and they did a wonderful rendition of Freddy Fender's "Til the last teardrop falls".

Lizette, and her group, Mariachi Jazmin provided a truly unforgettable experience for my mother, family, and residents of The Towers. In excess of 140 residents attended the event. While this was a birthday celebration it was also a catalyst to bring joy and happiness to The Towers facility since they had been under the shroud of a resurgence of Covid during June and early July. Juan and Lissette were absolutely outstanding! During the Labor Day weekend I went to California to hang out with an Army friend of 30 years. He and his wife did a practical joke on my by placing nearly 100 fake plastic scorpions in the guest bed, which I discovered after pulling back the comforter - this after I was stung by a real scorpion here in Texas. So when they came here to San Antonio for the first time, I wanted to give them the best Fiesta Texas welcome by having a Mariachi band wake them up for the ultimate payback. So I reached out to Mariachi Jazmin and explained my intent and they were excited to be a part of the event. We were able to negotiate a reasonable and fair fee right away. They arrived on time and they were just as giddy to be a part of a lifetime memory for me and my friends. Jan and Lissette did not disappoint! How they kept their composure during the event is beyond me. I would definitely use them again!!! They are forever etched in the epic moments of our lives for bringing their talents to my ultimate payback against my best friend. Now I have to worry what is in store when we go to California again!

I booked the four member Mariachi Jazmin group for my mother's 81st birthday party! Lizette Rocha, who is the talented singer of the group, was in constant communication with me prior, during and post event. The day before the party I was told that one of the mariachi members was ill and not able to make it and I was worried that they wouldn't sound good. Not only did they sound great, but my relatives who came all the way from Mexico for the party, said they sounded like there were 12 mariachi members vs three. They also took requests the whole hour and played all my mom's favorite songs, including "Amor Eterno", "Solamente Una Vez" and "Sabor a Mi". They were also a great price and I will be sure to book them again! Book Mariachi Jazmin, you will love them!!!

They serenaded our mother's for a Mother's Day event. There was tears of joy and lots of fun.

This 4-person Mariachi group are so talented, so full of joy, that within a few minutes after they started playing and singing, everybody got in the groove, started smiling and laughing and occasionally singing along. They even did an Elvis number, Mariachi style and the King would have loved it.

We used mariachi jazmin for a fiesta party at our home. They were promo and professional and amazing! Will definitely be using them again!

I did not get to enjoy them myself as I got to the reception late because of pictures, but I heard so many compliments that I know they were great. Hosted a reception for my niece and her new husband and Lizette's group made the party even more special. Now, I just have to rework my monthly budget to fit in a regular mariachi shindig!

I was pretty disappointed the Mariachi Jazmin arrived at the venue at 4:26pm when they were supposed to start playing at 4pm. The guests exited the ceremony to no music which we were hoping to avoid. However, they are great musicians who went from table to table taking requests. Based on the music alone, I would hire them again, however, would need a guarantee for their promptness.

I had Mariachi Jasmin play at my home on New Years Day. They were wonderful and by far the hit of the party! They were timely, professional, personable joking and interacting with guests. They played non stop and their music and voices were just wonderful. I would hire them again for any future events!

Great group awesome music. Only thing is the band left without us saying thank you they just disappeared. I would have liked to tell them in person thank you but overall great and fantastic service. Mariachi Jasmine performed at my 70th Birthdate party. From the beginning, dealing with Lizette was very professional. She was the first to respond with a bid and always responded to my emails promptly. When I requested a particular song she researched it and learned it in order to perform it for me at the party. She went above and beyond. They interacted well with the guests and everyone enjoyed their performance. They were also very prompt which was great when you are on a timeline with the venue. The performance was so amazing! My guests absolutely loved them and we even got a private serenade because we didn't make it to cocktail hour. The rest of the night had some hiccups so having this private moment with my now husband was perfect! Would definitely recommend for all events and will most definitely use them again!

My daughter was married on May 9, 2015 and my husband and I thought to surprise the married couple with a mariachi serenade at their reception. As time drew closer to the wedding date, we began to panic as we had not contracted any group. While we had a collection of business cards from different Mariachi groups we had heard before, we could not find any that were available on this very busy weekend. We had only a week to go! The www.gigsalad website proved to be a very useful tool. I selected several groups but the first one to respond was the Mariachi Jazmin. Lizette was so courteous and personable. She understood my desperation and was eager to assist me. Her group consisted of a trio, but I asked her if she could possibly find two more musicians. She was on it immediately and even though there was a high demand for mariachi players due to the Mother’s Day weekend events, Lizette came through and got a group of 5 very talented and excellent musicians on time and with an excellent repertoire. They were professional in their beautiful attire, singing with great “animo.” The surprise was the topping on the cake as everyone in the wedding party loved the music. It made for a really memorable celebration that we will always fondly remember. I highly recommend Mariachi Jazmin if you are looking for a mariachi group of excellent musicians, with a great repertoire at a reasonable fee to make an event really special!!

This was my first time using gigsalad--the website was easy. Sent a quote to one group based on reviews but no response--Mariachi Cielo Azul was one of the additional quotes sent by gigsalad--within minutes of being sent I received a response from Mariachi Cielo Azul. Very professional and responsive. It was very short notice and during the day at a place of business---but Thank God they responded! Payment was simple (I paid using PayPal). They were very personable and took interest in making this birthday serenade special for my wife!! My wife was surprised and cried tears of joy!!! They made me look like a millionaire dollars! All throughout the process they kept me well informed.

I was looking for a mariachi group for a very brief surprise performance for my fiance on her birthday (which coincided with her friend's baby shower). Logistics were a little tough as she would be in San Antonio, while I was home in Virginia. At the time, Cielo Azul didn't have any reviews on Gig Salad, but after chatting with Lizette a bit, I felt comfortable enough to book them. I talked to Lizette on the phone to confirm the location and time, and who they should contact at the event. Everything went really smooth, and Lizette seemed excited about the idea of a surprise performance. After that, I just sat and waited back home to hear how it went.

Though I was not able to see the performance, our friends there said it was wonderful, and the mariachi performance absolutely made the party. My fiance called right after the performance almost in tears and said this was the best birthday she ever had (despite me not being there :) ). She said this will truly be one of her most memorable moments.
