I'm available for weddings, receptions, memorial or funeral services, parties of all kinds, art gallery openings, and any other holiday you want to celebrate.
My musical genres range from classical to contemporary and my specialty, Celtic. Song list available upon request.
As to my prices: $125 per hour for standard performances, one hour minimum.
Weddings start at $250 per ceremony; a free one-hour consult to go over your musical choices is also available. When special music is requested for a wedding, I do need 30 days minimum advance notice so I have enough time to learn the music.

Marianne learned a few new songs for us to play at our wedding. She was flexible with the line up and last minute changes. My friends said that they could have listened to her play for hours. My only regret was that I was too far away to hear the majority of her songs.

Response from Marianne Goodland, Celtic Harpist:
Thank you so much! It was an honor to be part of your special day!
Gigsalad.com brought us Marianne Goodland to the remote mountains of Colorado! Marianne is a very accomplished lever harp musician with a huge amount of experience. She accompanied our private chef dinner for my wife's milestone birthday. She took requests and played all our favorites plus some selections that were new to use. She made the evening extra special. Prompt, professional, and very well prepared to make our evening outstanding!
We could not have been happier!

She is able to adapt and to be a part of the ambiance of the event .
Not needing the center of attention, she played a big role on the overall enjoyment of the attendees

We asked Marianne play at a memorial to celebrate my mother’s life. She listened carefully and then chose music that was perfect, she instinctively knew what music my mother loved. Everyone commented that the live harp music was such a lovely addition.

Thank you so much! It was an honor to be a part of your celebration of your mom’s life.
Marianne was a wonderful addition to our ceremony. She learned songs specifically for our ceremony, which were played with excellence. My husband and I highly recommend Marianne!!

What to Expect
I am a consummate professional; I've never been late to a gig in the 16 years I've been playing professionally. I bring my own sound system, geared to either small or medium-size venues. When you hire me for your event, I'll meet with you free of charge to go over what you want and how I can make that happen, either in person in my studio or over Zoom. I'm very flexible; given at least 30 days I can pretty much play anything.
About
I started learning classical harp in 1978 and realized this was what I was meant to play. It's been a part of my life ever since. I began playing professionally in 2006. I'm a three-time winner of the Colorado Scottish-Irish Festival harp competition, and was selected the festival's outstanding folk musician in 2007. I've played for Nobel Peace Prize winners, the Irish Ambassador to the United States (Daniel Mulhall), the Irish minister for education in charge of higher education, numerous appearances at Celtic festivals all over Colorado. I also perform annually for the Colorado General Assembly. I love all kinds of music and have played everything from Led Zeppelin to Lord of the Rings to music from online gaming communities. I also teach adults.
Additional Booking Notes
I need only an electrical outlet for the sound system; otherwise, I'm entirely self-contained and bring all my own gear.
