I am a classically trained mezzo-soprano with experience singing in churches, choirs, musical theatre productions, and solo. I currently attend the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music for my (link hidden)s in Vocal Performance (Honours) on full-scholarship. I have an early background in Musical Theatre and at least seven years of classical training thorugh the RCM curriculum. Throughout the years, I have reached RCM level 10 in Voice and RCM level 6 in Piano. I can sing in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Latin and German with excellent diction. My sight-singing skills are fair. I am of Portuguese descent and have also recently begun singing Fado as well!
I have personally performed with Marie-Raquel. Her attention to detail with respect to diction and embodiment of her pieces is amazing. Her clarity and musicality come through with every note. Her dedication to rehearsals, and cooperative nature make her an absolute pleasure to work with.
