Marietta Henna

Typically I arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled time for set up and to get acquainted! I have a book of designs that guests can choose from, but welcome outside designs as well.
Individual pieces take on average 2-5 minutes to complete, 15-20 minutes to dry, then last about 10-14 days.
I try to make sure everyone who wants henna gets one done before I start letting people double up.
I usually have a 5 minute warning before my times up, and I’m willing to go up to 10 minutes beyond my scheduled timeframe.
I then pack up, answer any last minute questions, and quietly see myself out!

My name is Courtney and I’m from Marietta, Ohio. I’ve been doing henna for almost 15 years and while mainly working in Ohio, I’ve done henna all over the East Coast!
I love traveling for events and meeting new people, so please reach out! Travel up to 50 miles from Athens is included in your party rate, but I’m willing to go anywhere my schedule allows. My summer months book up quickly on the weekends, but please feel free to reach out and see if your date is available! I also offer discounted rates for weekdays!

I got into henna my senior year of high school thanks to a dear friend taking a chance on my shy, unartistic self. She taught me the basics and over time, I developed a style of my own. I enjoy florals and some of the more traditional styles, but love throwing in a modern twist to really make a design unique. Fifteen years later and I am still learning and growing in my art, and my appreciation for the cultural significance and historical aspects of henna only deepens.
