Overview
Drummer/percussionist/vocalist/arranger/composer/teacher- I have a degree in music from New England Conservatory. I have over 30 years of experience performing, recording, touring and teaching jazz, funk, blues, folk, classical and African drumming. I sing lead and background vocals in jazz, blues, pop and sacred music groups. I have taught private lessons and lead small ensembles throughout my career in music. I have toured throughout the United States and in Germany and Belgium. I have Ludwig drums, Zildian and Paiste cymbals and Toca congas.

Mark came to the gig before we got there, prepared as a professional musician should, and he delivered as we asked. Prior to the gig, we had thorough communications. It was easy to work with him. We took a chance to playing with a drummer we had never played with before, and we're glad it turned out to be a great time playing together. Mark is truly a professional drummer.

Mark drummed to lead the Columbia Democrats in our July 4 parade. He was professional, personable, and joined our team. He also brought a fellow drummer at no extra cost. Everyone agreed he was a real asset for use I highly recommend him if you want a drummer
