Mrs. Marsha was everything I could want for an artist. She was friendly, she didn't rush and she made sure to draw me before she left! She is spot on in her drawings and my students and staff LOVED HER WORK! Whatever you do, be sure to hire her!

Awesome. You know, some jpeople think this is old hat! Oh, you'd be so wrong. Marsha brought 3 other artists with her and thrilled all of the attendees at our industry party last night. Funny, clever, creative and armed only with a sharpie --- they gave all of our guests a whole new perspective on themselves! Tons of fun!

We contracted with Marsha Eaton to draw for my granddaughter's 10th birthday party being held at a local roller skating rink with a Grease theme. Marsha did a group drawing and then she did a separate one for each child to take home with them. Everyone loved their drawings! And how great to have such a special keepsake. She was on time, very professional and if we have an opportunity to use her again, we'll will certainly do so.

I heard about gigsalad, while searching for an activity to do for my son's superhero themed birthday party. I wanted to do something different this year....I always like my guests to leave with having something to remember our parties by...weather that be a personalized take home gift or an event that would make the birthday party more of an experience for everyone involved. Once, I saw all of the possible options I could have at his birthday party through this site, I decided a caricature artist would be the perfect touch. Since, it was a dress up party for the kids and adults, there was no need to hire any superhero to show up because we were the superheros! So, in came the idea of caricature artist...to provide a keepsake gift for all of our guest to keep and mark this awesome occasion. I typed in my information and there were a slew of artists that got back to me quickly with a quote and what they could provide at the party. I went with Marsha because her quote was very tailored to what I wrote for the type of artist I was looking for, for my son's birthday. I felt like she really read my requests. Most of the quotes were very streamline that I got and I felt like half of them didn't even truly read what I was looking for. Marsha provided excellent consumer service and very fast communication through email. She answered all of my questions and really cared about making this quite the experience for not only my son but for all my guests and I truly appreciate that.
We booked her for 2 hours, I had over 12 children at the party with their parents, about 35 people total. She arrived on time, she was fast, very personable with all of the guest and such a wonderful asset to our superhero party! There is NO question in my mind, we would hire her again in a heart beat. She is absolutely amazing!

Highly professional, she shows up on time, ready to draw, and dressed the part, and often stays beyond the time hired, just to finish the remaining few that are still standing in line. With Marsha, you get what you pay for!
About
Marsha Eaton has been drawing caricatures throughout the state of Florida for over 20 years. Marsha loves drawing caricatures and has been drawing for so long, even while being employed in "regular" jobs, that it has become who she is. Having started out drawing at various attractions, entertainment agents and event planners eventually began hiring her to draw at conventions and business events. Eventually, she began marketing herself to businesses, throughout Central Florida, reaching out to business that she didn't feel competed directly with agents that hired her. Having worked for herself and agents, she's highly professional because she knows what it takes to get business and keep business. The job as "caricature artist" not only involves drawing great caricatures, but making the guests feel comfortable, giving them a great time at the event, and making the client and the agent feel proud, at the end, of a job well done. When hired by an agent, Marsha performs on the job as a representative of that agent and never gives out her own business cards or information in lieu of an agent's business card. When hired directly by a client, she never gives out her business card to the guests, unless asked. She's always on time, dressed for the part, and ready to draw. Everyone who's ever hired Marsha has always been glad they did--including the guests!
