Machura is an experienced, traditional, solo performer who does not use backing tracks, rhythm machines, auto tune, auto harmonizers, etc. He is the real deal--and a disappearing kind of guy in today's world of computers, tablets, etc. You can expect a wide ranging repertoire of familiar country-rock, folk-roots, country, and rock classic hits.

It was our honor to host, " Marv Machura" at our event here at "The View " . Marv , was amazing, great stories, great songs, which almost everyone could sing along to . We truly enjoyed him. All our residents want him back at other events . So, we will be booking him again and bringing him back for other events that we'll be having in the future. Great guy.

Marv Machura started performing professionally in wedding/dance bands as a teen. As soon as he turned 18, he began working as a singing guitarist in the bars and lounges around his hometown of Edmonton. He started writing songs in the 1980s, publishing songs in Nashville and being featured at many country and folk festivals. In 1990s and 2000s, he formed and led several bands that eventually morphed into the Marv Machura Band (a three-piece folk-rock band). Upon moving to Vernon, BC, in 2013, Marv Machura returned to his solo-performer roots, and he currently enjoys playing all over the Okanagan and Thompson Valleys while he continues to write, record, and perform his own Western Canadian Roots music.
Marv Machura is equipped with professional quality sound equipment and lights to fit the event: small, medium, or large.
I have been performing solo and as a band leader for over 40 years and have many songs in my active repertoire. And I am always learning more. Also, I am willing to learn a special song for your event. Each event is always a bit different--and I always play for the crowd.
