A local arts appreciation group (The Pierians, Incorporated) in Howard County invited Marvill The Violinist to perform at a recent Christmas party at the newest Busboys and Poets in Columbia, Maryland. Marvill was instrumental in adding energy, spark and joy to the event. He played a variety of music including songs from his new nChristmas album and popular tunes from his playlist. The guests enjoyed the party. I would recommend Marvill to any event. He adds musical value.

Today was a great day! I had a Jazz Seafood Brunch at my house in celebration of my daughter’s return home. See I haven’t been able to hold, hug, or kiss my 34 t/o daughter since before COVID. Therefore, in order to celebrate her temporary return we had a jazz brunch.
MARVILL Took this B+ event and turned it into an A++ event. Not only is he super talented & a class act- He was punctual and extremely polite & professional. Marvill was one of the highlights of our wedding. He played all requested songs from instrumental to r&b and hip hop songs. He even played his own original music. So many of our guests complimented the live music and how it enhanced the ceremony. Marvill even stayed later than planned to play during our first dance. He is very easy to work with, provided amazing service and at a great price. My only regret is that I wasn't able to listen to him during cocktail hour. I highly recommend him for you event!

I am late in writing a review but I hired Marvell for a birthday surprise at the W hotel suites in DC for my boyfriend whom we had just had a son a few weeks prior , and with Covid we wanted something intimate n safe from interactions. He was very professional, kindest of hearts.. he worked within our budget and was there on time even played alike but past his agreed contract.
The music the ambiance he created for us: just as a couple with our child was just awesome. It’s been 6 months in and I still remember him like it was yesterday. I will for sure hire him again. Thank you M for everything. Looking forward to having you again soon.

I planned an exciting proposal for my fiance and with COVID, things were a little difficult. I had a lot of stuff planned that day and was worried about everything running smoothly and on time. Throughout my communication with him, he was very responsive. Marvill did not disappoint on the exciting day.

My fiance is still replaying that video as one of her favorite memories from that day. He followed instructions to the T and was hidden in our hotel room, when we first walked in. As soon as my fiance walked in he started playing the violin and the song I requested, as planned. My fiance was in such awe and didn't really know what was going on at first. However, he did not let her reactions (happy) distract him and kept playing. That is a memory she will cherish forever and I thank him for creating that memory for us. Dont hesitate to book him for any event.

Asking someone to marry you is one of those moments that you’ll remember forever. You want it to be so special, so memorable and as close to perfect as it can be. Marvill The Violinist helped make it happen — he was the icing on the cake and was the one who gave folks chills as people listened to his beautiful talent. If you’re on the fence, do it. It’s something you don’t do everyday and worth every dollar in the long run.

First and foremost, contracting with Marvill was a testament to his professionalism and what could be expected on the performance day. I had never booked a violinist before and had quite a few questions. Marvill was extremely responsive and left no questions unanswered. Additionally, our telephone contact led me to decide that he would be a great addition to my event.
My guests were in awe to see a violinist at my “speakeasy Soiree” (Birthday Party). Marvill truly wowed everyone who was present. Several people have asked about him since the party. I highly recommend him.

I asked Marvill to play at our proposal yesterday and I could not have been happier with the decision. He was flexible (I changed the date and location three times), punctual (showed up early), communicative (responded promptly), and, most of all, talented. He performed the requested songs beautifully and on time. He was really a pleasure to work with and I would suggest him to anyone looking for a reliable and gifted violist.

It was amazing, entertaining and he has such a wonderful and kind personality. I definitely will be hiring him again for more events. You can watch his videos but its nothing like seeing the performance in person, I was amazed.

We had the pleasure of working with Marvill for our Champions of Change Award Reception. He was timely, professional and flexible with his set up. Marvill's performances were phenomenal, he flowed so well with the DJ set and our attendees loved being able to capture this dope experiences for social media. I hired Marvill for my daughter’s Graduation party and words cannot express how talented this young man is...everyone was WOW-ed!! Out of 5 stars, he was a 10!! We hired Marvill as a performer who played a number of pieces for us in the background during our networking event. He was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. It was a pleasure having him entertain our guests.

Marvill helped me with my proposal this pst weekend, he was right on Time and jammed out while i mumbled my way through my proposal on the harbor. He was the perfect accompaniment to our moment and was great with communicating. Thanks for all your help marv!
