I am currently a music student working for my Master's at Arizona State University, and I have a Bachelor of Music in harp performance from the University of Oklahoma. I have been enjoying every opportunity to share my love of performing with others, whether it's for a social event, a ceremony, or a church service. I love meeting new people as well as I love playing for them.

Mary arrived to perform at Mom's 85th Birthday Party and we quickly got her set up and tuned while Mom was occupied elsewhere in the house. When we brought her into the room, Mary played Happy Birthday and Mom was stunned!
Mary introduced herself and talked about her background and musical training and interests and then began a one hour classical program designed just for Mom. She even took a couple requests and could not have been more gracious and professional during the entire event. We were sad when it was over because she was so talented.
The main thing for us was Mom's enjoyment and everyone in the audience commented on how she was transfixed and her smile could not have been larger during Mary's entire performance. And the bigger testament is that she is STILL talking about the performance.
Thank you, Mary, as Mom could not have been more pleased and you could not have been nicer during the event. Everyone commented with glowing praise about the job you did!
Really enjoyed the music! She looked beautiful with her instrument when it got dark outside. I believe the guests really enjoyed her talent.

Gig Length: 30 - 180 minutes
I can provide up to three hours of performance with small breaks in between to rest my arms. I bring all my own things, so there will be no extra equipment needed.
I began learning harp at age 16 after playing the piano since age 5 and the clarinet since age 11. I was a band nerd throughout high school and my freshman year in the Pride of Oklahoma, but I immediately fell in love with the harp and continued to climb my way to more advanced levels after taking it up as a major at OU. Since then, I have had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with world renowned harpists, given recitals at both OU and my hometown, and have had the privilege of being a two-time member of the Saratoga Harp Colony in New York, where I got to study with the principal harpist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. I now have a Bachelor of Music from the University of Oklahoma and will be attending graduate school at Arizona State in the Fall.
Please make sure the performance area has sufficient lighting. Any outdoor performance will require temperatures to be between 65-85 degrees F for better tuning and to prevent wear and tear of the instrument.
