As a solo artist I've been called a musical story teller who sends his audiences on a journey they've never even dreamed of. I use drums, percussion from around the world and my voice. I have played solo shows in the USA and in Europe.

About
Swiss multi-disciplined drummer/percussionist Mathias Kunzli has become ubiquitous in the New York City and Los Angeles music scenes.
While drumming for the Swiss Youth Jazz Orchestra, Mathias received two scholarships from Berklee College of Music and moved to the United States.
Kunzli has toured extensively in concert halls, arenas, and festivals including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Outside Lands Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, etc.
US National TV appearances:
Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Colbert Report, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Late Late Show with James Corden, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Mathias has appeared on over one hundred albums. His first one as a leader “Playground” is a live recording of an improvised solo-show.
