This act is tasteful and low volume and will not impact socializing or conversations.
About
Matt Ali is a guitarist, bassist, producer, and composer from New Jersey, now based in Nashville, TN. Picking up the guitar at the age of 10 and discovering classic rock and blues music led to a fascination and obsession with music that still fuels him to this day. However it was the discovery of jazz that provided a catalyst of inspiration to pursue originality, creativity, and most importantly life long dedication to the practice of music and spiritual connection through his chosen instrument.
Today his music and style has roots in blues, which is evident from his virtuoso-like slide guitar playing, but it now incorporates jazz, latin, funk, and electronic elements stemming from his contemporary fascination exploring more interesting rhythms and harmony. Ali is always looking for ways to expand his technical playing capacity as a guitarist, which can be seen in his modified flamenco fingerstyle technique which he applies to electric, acoustic, and resonator guitars.
