About
Matt Barr, born in Payson, AZ, discovered his love for music at 8 when he picked up his grandfather's
1942 Gibson guitar. By age 10, he was writing songs. Matt studied music in the years following high school later
working in the oilfield and owning a business in that industry. While this limited his time to devote to music, Matt has immersed himself once again into the music he so loves to create. Matt is an accomplished guitarist as well as a singer and songwriter.
