Matt’s available song list is over one thousand songs, and set lists can be tailored to any event. Want a high energy act on a Saturday night? No problem! How about a toned-down Sunday brunch? I am a lifelong musician and performer. I aim to please people with diverse tastes in music by playing popular cover songs ranging from Tom Petty to Eminem and everything in between. My act can be as simple as just singing with an acoustic guitar. However, I have also developed a "modern day one man band" show that matches the feel and energy of a full live band. I do not use pre-recorded backing tracks. I use a performance style made popular by Ed Sheeran called "Live Looping" which allows me use my voice, guitar and other instruments and gadgets to build up complex song arrangements live and on the fly. It's a memorable experience where no two shows are ever the same, and people really enjoy watching the process and hearing the results!
I won't bore you with my life story. The key takeaway is that I'm a lifelong musician who started playing drums and guitar as early as I was learning to read. I've been performing my entire life and I love making a memorable experience for people through music.
I am fully self contained. I will play anywhere you can provide me access to power!
I can provide my own PA or I can tap into a provided system (or both!)
My solo performance rig can be as simple as just an acoustic guitar and my voice.
My "One Man Band Live Looping" set-up is quite complex, but I handle it all. It fits in a small area and I do not require any help loading, unloading, setting up or tearing down. My normal fee takes into consideration all of the gear and set-up / tear down time.
