Ever wonder what would happen if you took an old school outlook on life, paired it with a hard working songwriter and then mixed in a few different genre's like country folk and rock and roll? Wonder no more. I've been writing and recording music since I was a kid in junior high and have always had a knack for performing and putting on events. I have worked in camp ministry with elementary aged kids all the way up to adults and my music is fun and entertaining for all.
10/10 performance from Matt. Very professional and would certainly hire again!
Matt was awesome and will be hiring him again!

I play all original music that can be background music for your event or be the main event with stories interlaced between songs to provide a fun interactive experience and window into my world as a songwriter.
I'm here to help with your event and will do everything in my power to assist you with accomplishing your goal as an event planner.
Since he was 7 Matt Fawcett has been writing songs. His piano teacher was helping put music to those songs and at age 11 he was given his first guitar as a birthday present from his parents. Since then a lot has happened. He started recording on an old PC in high school and even though the recordings were only heard by his family, it gave him the bug. He played and led singing as he was growing up in youth group at church. In college he played his first gig of his own material at the small coffee shop in town for a free smoothie.
Several other shows were played there and many other songs were written, enough to fill a 3 hour gig with all original material. In 2014 Matt challenged himself to write, record and release a brand new song once a week for the entire year calling the project, 52 For The Year. It was a challenge for sure but through it his writing and story telling is only getting better. Having released Traded It All, this year, it's the first album since his college days and definitely his best. With a mixture of styles from old hymns, country, folk and a little rock and roll, each song is bound to keep you on your toes. Written from the heart and played from the soul, this singer/songwriter has a lot to share and from the looks of it, he won't be slowing down anytime soon.
For smaller spaces, sub 300 people in attendance, I can provide my own sound equipment.
