Matt Geiler's hilarious and completely improvised comedy concerts are truly one-of-a-kind events -- every show is a set list of off-the-cuff songs with laugh-out-loud lyrics created in the moment from audience suggestions. Wayne Brady calls Matt "The Beast." He's that good.

Matt Geiler presents an evening of completely improvised and hilarious songs all created from audience suggestions. Matt delivers (for real) something that's rare and unique in the current live comedy landscape: high-energy entertainment that's as smart and original as it is funny and interactive.
Matt's musical improvisation is without peer. Wayne Brady calls him "a beast" and frequently adds Matt to his own tour dates. Simply put, Matt is the best of the best when it comes to creating laughs out of thin air.
MATT GEILER is a comedian, artist and musician with a passion for making people laugh. A virtuoso musical improviser whose live appearances are completely off-the-cuff concerts of hilarious songs made up from audience suggestions, Matt has toured and performed with the likes of Wayne Brady and Flight Of The Conchords. He also just wrapped an appearance in The Chauffeur, a forthcoming short film by Brian Burton (DangerMouse, Gnarls Barkley). Besides his live comedy work, Matt is also the voice of the annoying tag in those Hanes commercials with Michael Jordan and takes over the Internet every October as the joyously gyrating dude in all those Pumpkin Dance videos, mash-ups and GIFs. When he’s not performing, Matt writes, records and performs the music for his indie-pop project Frederick Julius. He’s also a professional illustrator of children’s books and comics.
For smaller and more intimate venues (i.e, coffee houses, alternative performance spaces, theaters under 99 seats), Matt doesn't necessarily use another musician on-stage and usually requires only an input for an iPad (operable from stage area), a microphone (see Stage/Set-Up Requirements) and an on-stage monitor.
For larger venues (full theatres, clubs, performance halls, large comedy clubs) please refer to Stage/Set-Up Requirements.
In the event that venue cannot accommodate iPad operation from stage area, Matt requests a dedicated sound person to play tracks from house sound booth.
Matt's set list is completely unique for each appearance, as the songs are improvised in real time from audience suggestions.
Wayne Brady, Andy Kaufmann, Steve Martin, Robin Williams
Vocal Mic: Shure wireless Beta 87 URL (preferred); 2x on-stage monitors (wedges) for vocals and keyboard/guitar accompaniment; direct boxes or inputs for keyboard, guitar, and iPad
