Matthew was the MC for one of the biggest events in Porsche Centre Langley's history, our launch event for the new Macan and Taycan. Hiring Matt was the best decision. He made sure to get to know the event details very well and all the key individuals who were included on stage. The energy he brought was contagious which contributed to guests understanding the flow of the event and the excitement in the room.

You’re awesome! Thanks so much Alex!
We hired Matthew for a corporate event for our university. Given it was our first event of this nature, finding someone to trust was essential, and Matthew did not disappoint. I can say without a doubt that our smooth and successful event was a result of his sincere interest, time, and energy. He is sharp (in the good way), upbeat, encouraging, was more than happy to attend meetings leading up to the event, was a clear communicator and also initiated a run-through with our panel speakers to make sure the dynamic between them was smooth.
He did his own research and asked smart questions to understand the event's goals. He was super invested in our event, and with our blessing took the script we gave him and really made it his own. He showed up early (perfectly dressed), brought the right tone for a morning event, and even gave feedback on the room set-up before our guests arrived. A true professional, Matthew was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
Matthew came up from Vancouver to emcee our event in Kelowna. He showed up early to help with setting up, making sure the equipment was working and to go over any last minute changes to the agenda. Throughout the event Matthew was entertaining, supportive and adapted to any given circumstances. He coordinated with the other performers and kept the crowd pumped up. Matthew was charming, professional and the night ran very smoothly.

Thanks so much Marcel. Hope to see you next year!
Matthew Kevin Anderson is a truly fantastic host. At our corporate party for 150 people, he got everyone laughing, loosed up, happy, playful, dancing and singing karaoke, while also clearly communicating all the necessary information to the crowd. He knows how to read a room, put people at ease, and keep the party going. He genuinely seemed to be having a great time, from start to finish, and was never “phoning it in.” Matthew is a genuine “people person” and it’s obvious he cares about what he does. Being a handsome, charming professional actor obviously helps him in front of a crowd, but he is not at all arrogant. He’s kind, warm and inclusive, and made everyone at the party feel special without being at all condescending. I should also mention he was on time, immaculately dressed and groomed, (kind of a younger George Clooney type) and even though he was having as much fun as we were, he remained professional from start to finish. We are so happy we hired him for our event and will definitely have him back again if we can get him next time! We realize we are really gushing in this review, but we are so happy with the way Matthew took care of us, that we want to other people to have as good a night as we had. 5 out of 5 stars!

Response from Matthew Kevin Anderson Emcee:
Thank you Ben! Congratulations on 20 years. It was such a fun event!
My brother had his emcee drop out just weeks before their wedding reception, so we were scrambling to find someone. Matthew was both professional and easy to work with, asked questions ahead of time to get to know the couple better, and incorporated what he learned of them into his script for the evening. He was flexible on the evening and kept a positive energy going throughout the evening. We were all very happy to have him emcee the evening.

As President of the LEO AWARDS and Chair of the Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Foundation of British
Columbia Board of Trustees since it's inception 25 years ago I have participated in numerous events and engaged literally thousands of Presenters, Hosts and Emcee's.
Mr. Anderson has both presented and hosted for us a number of times. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He holds the stage well and carries himself with grace and humour. He represented the LEO AWARDS in a very positive light for which I am grateful.

Thank you so much Walter. I love working with you guys!
Fun, upbeat, and of course, entertaining, Matt knows how to light up a stage. For the Leo Awards, he brought new ideas that jazzed up our event and engaged our audience as never before. His refreshing energy is infectious and full of swagger, always focusing on the audience and not himself. icing on the cake? He’s funny too, and sometimes even looks that way. Highly recommended.
