Message from Matthew:
Hello. I've been a performing musician for most of my life, and I've been studying, learning, and playing American heritage music for more than 12 years. I find that often when an event organizer is seeking a bluegrass or country or band, they are looking to create a feel of pure Americana, or perhaps even patriotism. We are bluegrass, country, and so much more. This is the roots of American music.
I am always amazed by the audience response to our special brand of American heritage music – music that is woven into the fabric of our nation. These songs have the power to unite guests and audience members, no matter the age or ethnicity. Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band is something special, unique, and different, yet the music is completely familiar and comfortable to audiences.
Be sure to check out our videos that showcase different aspects of our repertoire. Every audience is different, and we know how to choose the right songs for the setting.
