Matthew's Jazz Band

We booked this band for a 60th birthday party and they were a hit! Nicko was proactive, responsive and very professional throughout the whole process. The music was top-notch, the band members all super-nice, and our guests were very complimentary of their performance. We had very particular requests for the quartet make-up (piano, drums, bass, singer) as well as the vibe of the song list, and they made it work. We definitely would hire them again for other events.

Matthew and Sean played my holiday party and it was a hit. They played for almost 3 hours (with a couple of short breaks) and it added so much to the ambiance. They were also friendly and jovial with guests, I received a lot of praise from guests on the selection of music and the musicians both.

Matthew's Jazz Band played our housewarming / baby shower and it was best! They set an awesome vibe for the party and all of guests were commenting on how wonderful the music was. We opted for a 2 piece Jazz Band and Matthew and Sean couldn't have been more wonderful! They arrived early and were ready to go ahead of the party. We will definitely be reaching out to them again for future events and occasions!

My partner's father just turned 85 and we wanted to surprise him with his favorite music. We hired Matthew's Jazz Band to play at our outdoor extravaganza. Due to nonstop rain for days we had to move the party inside at the last minute. I was worried about the space and if the music would be too loud for the guests. Matthew and his team were very accommodating and what we ended up with was a very intimate gathering with the best music ever! There were two professional musicians in attendance who, along with everyone else, raved about the band. Not only was the music amazing, Matthew was very easy to communicate with before and after, and all three of the gentlemen were very professional and pleasant. I could not be happier with the outcome and would hire again in a heartbeat. The guest of honor was extremely moved by the entire event which was just what I was going for. Matthew and his group were excellent. He was responsive, accommodating, and a great musician. The band did a 30 minute Zoom jam session for a birthday gift fir a friend. They performed a range of songs - standards and jazz fusion. Matthew quickly responded to all my questions, accommodated my requests, showed up on time, and charged a very reasonable fee.

I could truly gush about Matthew's Jazz Band all day long! The guests were as happy with them as the groom and I were. They were extremely accommodating to all requests, made the most of every situation and went with the flow. Their sound was classy & elegant, and never too loud. Matthew went above and beyond, keeping in constant communication with me throughout the planning stages and even transposing the song I walked down the aisle to. The band was willing to learn all three songs we danced to (father-daughter, mother-son and first dance) too and were very timely in their arrival in set up and tear down. They set the perfect mood for the night and crafted the vibe I always envisioned. By far, the greatest addition to our special day. Thank you Matthew's Jazz Band!!

Matthew's Jazz Band was very skilled and easy to work with! Our guests had a fun time dancing and drinking to their silky, smooth jazz. They even let one of our guests with a jazz piano background hop in and play with them, which was pretty cool. Would recommend for any party or event with a laid-back yet elegant vibe

The Trio did a wonderful performance for my private get together for a friend's birthday a few weeks ago. I originally heard them play at Aqua Marina and decided to contact them as a live musical performance at my friends birthday party. They played great, and were able to do almost all of our on the spot song request (on top of the list we gave them before hand). Would definitely hire them again.
