Expect a no-ego, reliable performer who's goal is to create a unique connection with every guest and ensure everyone has an unforgettable experience. You'll not only get sultry and hilarious acts, but also crowd work and ambience to keep the party going!

An original Nebraska boy, Max is now based in LA and performs all over the country including the world famous Magic Castle. He brings a lifelong career in Theatre to his decade of experience in Burlesque and crowd work. He blends that theatricality and classic Vaudeville influence into acts are energetic and engaging, interactive and exciting, unique and unforgettable. Max Moxie is trisexual. I'm very good at adapting to almost any space! I am well versed in playing acts both on stage and on floor among the audience. Listed below are the bare minimum requirements that must be met for safety, comfort, and artistry. Please feel free to ask if your space/event has specific uniquities!

For all acts:
Changing/green room space(s) that is secure, separate, and private from all non-performers (e.g. audience, other event staff, etc.) with adequate space/amenities to change, prepare for acts, and store personal belongings/equipment is required. If the changing/green room space(s) is suitable for preparation but cannot be secured, then another space/option must be provided with adequate security. This room(s) may be shared with other professionals performing for the same event if space and security is still adequate for the number expected to use the space. There must be access to a clean bathroom with appropriate hygiene amenities. There must be access to plenty of potable drinking water: tap, bottled, or likewise.

As well, all spaces where performers are expected to be (performance space, green room, connecting passageways, etc.) must be safe and comfortable with adequate control over, but not limited to: lighting, temperature, privacy, and protection from weather/elements.

For Burlesque acts:
Music playback is required. This can be by sending a track to a designated DJ/sound op for the event. If there is no designated sound person available, then communication required ahead of time to discuss options for bringing my own sound or renting equipment.

For accordion:
A microphone on a mic stand is required if the space is larger than 600 sq. ft and/or the crowd is expected to be noisy during the act.

For fire:
Must be an outdoor space, or an indoor space that is well ventilated and pre-approved to allow open flame by your local fire marshal and/or respective governing body. The performance area itself must be at least 15 foot diameter circle with at least 8 foot overhead clearance. The space must be completely clear of everything: furniture, audience, cables, carpet, greenery, set pieces, lighting fixtures/speakers, or anything else that could potentially catch fire and/or cause fumbling. Audience is not allowed to participate in a fire act and must keep performance space clear at all times fire is present. Booker/producer is responsible for confirming fire capability in the space. If upon arriving it is deemed as unsafe for any reason then fire will not be performed with no refund.
