Maya's performances are tailored to your celebration or cultural event. From her grand entrance with Isis Wings or Deluxe Candle Tray, to her Double Sword play. Interspersed with mystic Arabic dance, she crowns the evening with her fiery Drum solo. To dazzle the eye, her fabulous couture costumes from Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Argentina serve to enhance her magnificent physique.
Enjoy an exciting performance designed to delight all audiences from family-oriented to corporate venues. We encourage audience participation within standards of good taste.
Maya does not perform at all male events.

The Bellygram - An energetic 10 minute show. This show features a grand entrance with veil and upbeat music. This is good for surprising your favorite person.
The Classic Show - This is perfect for any occasion! This complete show features a Grand Entrance with Veil or Isis wings, followed by a captivating mix of dance routines, ONE advanced prop such as Deluxe Candle Tray and ending with a Fiery Drum solo. This 18-20 minute show is typically what you would see in a restaurant.
The Ultimate Show - Is great if you want to add extra flair! In this 22-24 minute show, you get a Grand Entrance with Veil or Isis wings (LED or non-LED), a mix of enchanting dance routines and TWO advanced props such as Deluxe Candle Tray (most popular), Double Scimitar Sword Play, Sultry Weighted Silk Veils, Egyptian Cane, Vibrant Silk Butterfly Wings, Sensuous Feather Fans and Beautiful Fan Veils.

Maya stays current with the latest belly dance styles, music and costuming from around the world; by continuing to travel and study with international Master Instructors. She has studied with Azad Kaan (Turkey), Tito Seif (Egypt), Zafrah (Argentina), Aziza Nasr (Egypt), Randa Kamal (Egypt), Jillina (USA), Nour (Russia), Helena Vlahos (Greece), Sadie (USA), Asi Haskal (Israel), and Ava Fleming (USA), Ranya Renee (USA/Egypt).
She continues to pursue precision in her artistic expression with consistent private training in Ballet, Jazz, Theater, Arabic Musicality & Cultural nuances. Maya values the importance of understanding the subtle cultural differences in hand gestures, facial expression & body language when performing for different audiences.
Maya has experience performing in big productions on large stages, corporate events, cultural festivals, with live Arabic singers & musicians, in Middle Eastern restaurants and nightclubs. She has also had the honor to participate in Arab 'women's only' family events as both a guest and a performer.
Additional Booking Notes
Maya can perform anywhere from the size of a theatrical stage to an area rug. She will accommodate her performance to fit your space.
Don't have a sound system? That's ok! If needed, she will bring a small sound equipment with her or (with advanced notice) can bring a portable PA system.
Maya does NOT dance in any belly dance troupes. She can NOT be booked through belly dance companies, troupes, teachers or performers (except in the Chicago area). There are a few professional belly dancers that will send her as a 'direct referral'.
Unfortunately, images and video clips of Maya are being used on belly dance websites, social media and news letters to promote belly dance companies that she does NOT dance with. She has never been absent to a booked performance. Clients have been shown photos of Maya and promised a performance by her. Then on the day of the show, clients are given an excuse and a replacement. So if you want to book Maya specifically, please book directly or confirm that she is aware of the third party booking.
