The presence of live harp music transforms events into truly memorable experiences! My goal as a harpist is to learn about YOUR vision for your event and then to bring that vision to life. I happily take custom song requests to make your occasion even more meaningful and magical!
If you are planning a wedding, reception, funeral, dinner, shower, or other event, I would be thrilled to be a part of it!
Lizzie McClellan's harp skills are outstanding. Her performance on my piece Romance Sonámbulo evoked the mystery and beauty of the poetry that inspired the work. McClellan as a person is reliable, has a sensitive ear, open to trying new things, and is an eager and fun person to collaborate with. I'm sure that her teaching style reflects these same qualities.
Response from McClellan Harp Studio:
Thank you! Your composition is creative and original! What a joy it was to work with such a talented group of musicians.

Hello! I am Lizzie McClellan - harpist, pianist, teacher, and creator of McClellan Harp Studio.
Growing up in a musical family, my question was never if I’d play an instrument, but rather which instrument I would choose.
After a few years of taking piano lessons, I witnessed a harp performance for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the instrument, and soon had the fortune of beginning harp lessons at the age of 9.
I went on to study under under ASU harp professor Rebecca Foreman, who coached me through Arizona Allstate Symphony and Band performances, solo and ensemble competitions, my first harp gigs, and taking on my first harp students.
I have had many opportunities to share my music, and continue to find joy in performing for events such as weddings, dinners, funerals, and receptions. Several years ago while living in Washington DC, I had the opportunity to play at our Nation's capital for Senator Orrin Hatch's farewell reception!
I love working with clients to learn how I can make their events even more spectacular. I look forward to working with you!
I will provide all of my own equipement, including amplication if required.
Here are some of the songs in my repertoire. This is not an exhaustive list. If you don't see your special song here, just ask! I happily take requests to make your occasion extra special.
